After shooting yesterday me mate and i went t' pub for a few light ales . Whilest there a fella noticed the gun slips and asked us what we had been shooting. Blah Blah Blah . Anyway it turns out this bloke is a "keen" shot himself. As me mate could not turn up for shooting today (sunday 08/12/02) I invited this bloke (mark) 08/12/02 Mark turned up on time . and we went to the field where we were shooting on the saturday. I set out my decoys and set me camo net up and sat on me bucket to watch as it transpires to be the worst days shooting i have ever had in my massive total of 3 months of shotgun ownership. Mark set his hide up about 100 yards away from mine. Set his decoys out and went into his hide. 20 mins. after we had set our stuff up we spotted the first black spots in the distance. I then got a running commentery SHOUTED to me on how far the pigeons were away needless to say they were not keen on getting within range but this did not stop mark he was blasting away at pigeons that were 150 yards away.Then when they had jiggered off Mark came stalking up to me and asked if i had seen the pigeons as i did'nt shoot my gun. can't be ***** to write anymore on this , as i am still a bit wound up about some ******** from the pub spoiling what could have been another good day. Mark did leave his phone number with me so i could give him a ring when i was going out next time.Me dad has suggested that i ring him every day and tell him which field to stand in as we will save £££££££ on crow bangers. all the best gents

nah nah nah nar nah. i've had a better day than you :( !!! Went out at 8:00 this morning walked round in the cold and wet for a good 3 1/2 hours then we noticed a big flock of pigeons that were sat on a telephone wire, and going down into a set a side field that had a few scratty bit of rape here and there. we rushed back to the truck for the decoys and a bit of camo netting. set out the decoys and waited. Results for 1 hour were :- Me 9 feral and 5 woodies for 18 shots, the best shot of the day was a 48 meter feral with 28" full choke Me mate had 7 feral and 11 woodies ,dont know how many shots he fired but the semi auto is very unsporting. :( . all the best gents

Don't have one of those jackets your on about but went to the gun shop yesterday and tried a deerhunter Montana jacket on (the 5-1) It looked like the dogs B. Recon if you have 1 of them you could miss all day and nobody would notice as they would be too busy looking at your legs and head. Deako 1st off this is going to be 1 of those post's that DOE'S NOT answer your question. I have never had a nissan pickup, but if they are the same kind of price as a hilux. I can recomend these with two thumbs up . Got one that had been used on the motorways by tarmac. it had 100000's miles on it and got it for a song at the auctions, kept it for 4 years of constant abuse from myself and in 4 years of motoring less insu. tax and fuel . it cost me the grand total of £452 to keep on the road £ 240 or so of which were for boots.Best motor for running costs i've ever had. sorry that was no use what so ever but, all the best on your search.

This is a belting subject. A bit further north than me there used to be(maybe still is) an Addidas trainer factory.All the 2nds used to get chucked out into a skip round the back of the factory. You used to have to wade through a load of rubbish but hehe used to have a new pair of trainers every month. As soon as they started to stink they'd be binned. On this subject a mate has told me that he has got a roll of "gortex" equilavant that is used by berghaus to make there coats with,it was sent back by berghaus as the colour was wrong.Anyway's i've managed to cadge some of this material off him so i can make a "bivi" bag outta it. As an ex-girlfriend is a machineist at burberys ,i'm sure she would love to see me again, and make me a bivi bag. all the best

HH Asked me cousin about this, she says:- (hope i remember everything) the horse is cribbing, nothing to worry about..... BUT if it is doing it excessively(spl) it will in the long run make it's belly bloat and thus it will suffer from colic. Check its belly and if in doubt get a vet in. hope this helps all the best

Hope them boots were PVC thigh length jobbys for the missus D E D !!! But i'm with ya about been ripped off for guns etc, I figure u folks that live down south should take a look across the English channel and have a look at the price's in France.I have been trying to get price's for Italian shotguns from italy (yes i know how it sounds doh . where else ) on the net, without any luck. Kinda makes you wonder how much a dealer makes on guns and carts. etc... Makes u wonder about a "buying ring". The farm where i work, buys chemicals from a "buying ring" and "we" have found that it works out much cheaper as we are buying chemicals in bulk straight from the makers. Yorkshire lads come on here i'm willing to ring Gamebore up for a price on how many 1000's of clear pigeon. all the best
