i agree with gerry31,i have made and tried monopods,bipods,tripods but the best i have come across are quad sticks,a bit hard to use at first but once you get the hang of them there excellent,absolutely solid,see mark gilchrists video how to make cheap shooting sticks you can even zero off them,strongly recommend them atb dave

ver sorry to hear that,my lab is 14 and is starting to have health problems,will be absolutley devastated if anything happens to her

i have an anschutz 1517 with 14" barrel,very accurate,wouldn t get anything longer atb dave

could possibly be just dodgy ammo,i have just come in from shooting today,started great and then had a bad patch half way through the day,5 shots not even close then back on song again,remember this is mass produced factory ammo so theres every chance of a few dodgy ones atb dave

frank dyke dont import or supply 1517s with a 14" barrel,they might cut it down if you asked them but otherwise no.Ruag may supply them i dont know,i bought my 1517 from sportsman gun centre about 8 months ago and have had no probs with it,as has been said any loss of any power is unnoticeable,the gun is very very accurate and the build quality second to none.The only thing i had done to mine was the trigger made into a two stage the same as the 1417,cracking gun atb dave

yes got to agree,whether it be day or night its about being out there,some of the things you can see and watch are fantastic,if you manage to shoot anything its a bonus atb dave
