chances are jake that you have the same problem as me . i can go every morning and see birds on the fields . as soon as i set up they are off to their next best field there is just too much food for them and they are spoilt for choice. one bang and they are gone (bit like me) . just keep trying mate

i have a maxus and to be honest it was the best thing i ever got , i wanted a gun for the field and this gun is bulit proof. i have fired over 500 shells before cleaning and it was still cycling well . it does not matter what cartridge i use as they all cycle the action . it is steel proof and will take all the weather that you can throw at it. i am one of those people that cant always clean my gun when i come home because of work comitments so i give it a quick spray and in the locker it goes. when i pick it up next time, i know the maxus will not let me down. this is my opinion and nothing will change it. kev

i use a Pulsar 550 Digisight on my 17hmr. took a bit of getting used to but it does what it says on the tin
