  1. Gotta be honest Kip... its a cracking round I see you had some success too
  2. GH my philosophy behind that is if I can get up early to go to work then I can get up early to go play
  3. Well from what i've been told by members of our club who have them - No Apparently not.... The Wildcat moderators are better for a start, and i'm sure i've read on here and elsewhere that the new Stealth mods are the dogs as well
  4. I have open permission on all of mine, but I still phone all of them before I go there out of courtesy, also on one of my pieces of land there are about 7 different people with permission on the same land.
  5. T8's are £199 and DM80 are £100 there is not £100's worth of difference between them if you know what I mean... the T8's usually sell for around £100-£130 2nd hand depending and the DM80 are few and far between but when they do pop up 2nd hand they are usually £70-£80 and as for the scale they are about a 5 or 6. BigGun1 = DM80 is Traget Sports of Bolton's resident gunsmith, if you have no luck contacting Dave himself on BBS give them a ring and they will pass on your No to Dave
  6. Well I went for a walk around my largest farm this morning with the .222 The farm is 750acres of pretty much nothing to shoot.... maybe a few squirrels and a few bunnies - and now foxes. The first pic is of a cub shot at 20yds. It came right up the side of us as we sat at the base of a tree using a critr call, the 2nd is of a cub that came out of a wood straight at us using the same call, this one was shot front on in the chest at about 50-55yds
  7. Just bought the DM80 for my .222 and it does the job really well...paid £100 posted to my door and fair play it only took a week... he made and posted mine even before he cashed my chq...as a matter of fact he still hasn't cashed my chq yet

Dr Bob on our forum has come up with a ring that attaches to the buddy bottles on the rapid and S10 rifles.... check here http://www.airgununiverse.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=14840
  10. You could always contact Edgar Bros as they are the official importers for CZ
  11. If it refuses to let go another 'rough house' way of getting them to let go is either try and push its tongue down into the bottom of its jaw by putting your thumb under its jaw and your (free) index finger into its mouth and squeezing together - they won't bite then they will just try and get the obstruction out of its mouth or last resort, attempt to strangle it.... not the best way to do things but if you grab it around the neck and squeeze it will let go to escape being strangled...unfortunately doing this will make the ferret very cautious to being handled and you gotta start all over earning its trust again. I had to do this when it latched on to my daughter's hand a few years ago as it was wriggling as if to tear the flesh...
  12. I zero my HMR in an old railway engineer tunnel, its where our club is based, therefore perfect shooting conditions - no wind, benchrested etc... and with a little time, practice and confidence I can cloverleaf 5 shots @ 100yds.... to try and zero during cross winds will have you chasing your mistakes all day. The HMR rounds are greatly affected by x-winds after about 60-70 yds and as for the zero at 35yds thing goes - I can't get that to work... zeroed at 35yds yds pretty much through the same hole... 125yds like a scatter gun Zeroed @ 100yds and 1/8" high @ 25yds - 1/2" high @ 50yds - 6 3/4" low at 200yds and that on my Hawke Varmint scope is 1 mildot holdover, and pretty much dead on from 20yds out to 130yds
  13. I have the CZ American with the 20" barrel and it prefers Hornady 17gr.... it pretty much doesn't like any other ammo and I found that it opened my groups out to about 1.5" with Hornady 20gr and CCI TNT's
  14. B) :happybday: :happybday: :happybday: :happybday: :happybday: :happybday:
  15. The banners are not very good at low light, even with the 50mm lens... if you're looking for a Bushnell then you would be better looking for the the elite range...or if funds don't stretch to that, you would do a lot worse than the Legend 5-15x40 they crop up quite often 2nd hand on BBS for around a ton There is also a Simmons 44 mag on the BBS for sale the 6.5-20 model for £150. Failing that have a look at the MTC Viper range... good clear optics

    Tyres

Have a look here http://www.offroading.net/shop/ Speak to Steve and tell him I put you onto him...he's also on airgun universe Apparently the delivery is free on the Colway tyres he has for sale
  17. Any wiper motor would do the job, just make sure you connect the relevant wire to the slower of the wiper speeds and not the intermittent

There's one of them and a Baikal on the BBS and I reckon £100 would buy the two... I'm tempted to buy them just because they are there at that price TBH
  19. 1. Weihrauch HW35... .22 flavour I got it as a project to restore it but basically I just don't have the time..... it shoots well with AA Field 1" groups at 30yds.. £60 ono +P+P 2. Bushmaster scope 6-18x40 Bought it to go on the .222 but put a Kahles on it now instead Mounted this scope on the HW35 to check its consistency. It has a slight scratch on the top of the scope near the obj lens but it has no affect on the optics. All I want is what I paid for it which is £40 +P+P 3. Richter Optik 3-9x40 I bought this brand new to put on my 22LR til I got a better scope..... its been on my 22LR for about 2 months c/w flip up lens covers £35 ono +P+P
