About Me
I started shooting over 40 years ago with airguns, and consider that this was the best possible apprenticeship - if you can stalk within 30 yards of a rabbit or pigeon and shoot it through the head then most other forms of shooting are easy in comparison.
I have owned more makes/models of spring airgun than I can remember, and quite a few pneumatics too.
Since then I have graduated on to rimfires (owned at least a dozen or so) and then centrefires in the smaller calibres from 0.17Rem up to 22-250 for fox control.
My experience with shotguns has been similar, owning several 410's, upwards to muzzle loading 5 bores - the latter are still my first love and I still own three.
I get out pigeon shooting whenever I can, but there is nothing to beat shooting the sheep farmers enemy - crows.
