This may sound stupid. Do you have to use gamebore cartridges in the qualifying rounds or can you use any brand?

Could be a cartridge issue, where the top lever doesn't close properly

Richard faulds' stock position is so relaxed it's nearer his chin than cheek, same for Americas David radulovich another top shooter. On the other hand digweed has his cheek really planted on the stock, all of these guys can shoot so it's what feels right for you in my opinion.

At the end of the day you turn up and shoot as many targets as possible. If it's soft or hard who cares, the top shots always win high gun. How often do you see a C class or B class shooter winning high gun.

All of my comments are seriously serious. You do get a few funny looks though turning up to a formal pheasant shoot with a cammo semi auto and red ring on.

I've been advised to shoot with no multi chokes in my shotgun, just shoot threads. That way I'm not tempted to change chokes

Hamster, what's your verdict on the u3 compared to the green optima choke of berettas?

Some berettas balance far to barrel heavy, so I guess this is another solution to bringing the balance back to the hinge pin. Or you could just stick some lead in the stock as a cheaper alternative if gun bling doesn't do it for you.
