  1. If it is a modification after manufacture you should notify your insurance company, they then need to know the make and all the dimensions material size fixing & all stuff like that, then pass this info onto upper level folk, who will then either up you insurance or say no to your policy. If you dont then as already mentioned ( i think it was a warning) your not covered Thats as simple as i can put it

Scarpa Attack, had mine for about 10 years looking at getting yet another pair as they are seeing the end of there life now. They will be the 3rd pair ive had. They are a 4-5 season walking boot, very comfy, warm and waterproof round about £130 not bad if you think you get about 10 years out of them, i ware them most time's i go out, just come back from Croatia a foot of snow and dry warm feet
  9. well it took me a few to sight it in I didn't realise i could get 4 off shots so quickly, mind you that little piggy sure did run fast though a quick change to elevation sorted it though :look:
  10. I dont know if it was just me, but knowing the size of them and the story's you hear. there were times i was kind of bricking it. I mean you have about 10 yards from were this great big 200lb+ chomping monster could come flying out at you and in the VERY short time you have your best to get a bead on it and sort it before it sorts you , Was it just me being over imaginative. Yes i did do a bit of a jig when i got one,but it was really more of it aint going to get me now, kind of dance Now, as those of us who were there cant believe that some tooth butcher from some distant land was actually on his mobile phone whilst waiting for Boar to appear :o thanks again for the company it was brill,
  11. cant seem to get more than one per reply, never mind
  12. couple more, the high seat near the start of our last days drive, and the other over looking the last drive of the holiday, i was just waiting for some little piggies to pop out of the tree line at the bottom. but no sign of even a squeak
  13. With the amazing organisation at Heathrow by the customs (what a joke) I forgot to say my good bye's and thanks for an amazing few days. All (nearly) that went were fantasic sport, must remind myself not to go to S/A and keep away from Dentist in the london area any way fantasic brill super amazing what else, go again ? of course Thanks to all that went one of the long walks to pegs
  14. Hi rompom the first thing to get sorted is your budget, how much could you fork out on your first shot gun, but keep in mind that you will need more than just a shot gun. Cabinet £100 look for a decent 2nd hand ear defenders £50 or plugs (free) cleaning equipment£20 i would say buy the best shotgun you can afford buy cheap buy twice, also better chance of selling on or part exchange go to a reputable RFD and try before you part with your cash if you can, get youself a bit of help from a decent shotgun coach,
  15. should work on voyager west coast and the cross country also pendo's i am sure they "all" have systems fitted to enable connection, that is apart from the quiet zones on the voyager and super voyager were you are requested not to use PC's and mobile's OOps didnt notice, bit late with advice wots new there then

  18. It would be nice to support your local wether it be gun shop, pub, post office or general store, But you may have one like i went to some time ago, I was told by the shop owner when i asked if he could get me a Sako75 SS laminated stock and Heavy barrel . " No you dont want one of those- you want one of these " then proceded to show me what he used. "what do you want one of those for" "you dont want to go into reloading" while shaking his head and tutting  So what do i do. simple--- go somewere else. so thats the one i look after, the one that looks after me
  19. just wasted 5 minutes. going for a bath
  20. Hi, i personally would go for something less busy, if you know what i mean, and a bit better quality glass. I guess they are around the £100 mark, i have just got myself a Luepold 3-9x40 V1 very good glass a vast improvement in low light conditions they are about £200 though. What you may have problems with is too much going on with the scope before you actually take the shot, resulting in a lost bunny. Also loosing zero when changing mag from 8 - 32. Consider choice while out lamping as well. hope ive not put you off your choice, but i may save you money in the long run. dougy
  21. A quote from Mr Theodore Roosevelt.(1858-1919) and very apt but they are a pain in the rear
  22. i have seen one at weston, i was tempted but not at £129. they are very light. compared to others. I pay about £10 for 7amp/hr 12v-- quite a difference check out on the tinternet have a read up on them, that was another thing that put me off them. not a long life for the money.
  23. A bit of a waste of rabbit meat there, "60 rabbits and cant be bothered to pick them up" thats nearly £100 left in a field to rot. Sorry but i dont like the attitude
  24. just had a hunter 8 and will also do the radiators and hot water even thinking of putting a radiator down the shed. put the gas up as much as they like
