Repair, sell diesel estates for a living. Mainly vauxhall and up until recently ex mod cars. It smokes when he boots it. A quick check of the stick should give him an answer to if it is burning oil or not. And when they start to burn some with the fuel they sure get through it. Karpman Plenty of vids of cars on youtube with valve stem seals gone kicking out blue smoke

I bought summat off little while ago, it came broke which is about right for me lol. They replaced it within a week and when I bumped into em at the game fair they gave me a deal on some 2 ways I couldn't refuse. Buy most my kit from Andy at AA now, cheaper and I'm a tight wad lol. Karpman -
Wow what video lol. And what wonderful memories it bought back. Karpman

Thought you didn't want an argument. A lot of the big goose bags are taken inland or on places were they are of particular nuisance. I don't set my self bag limits, had the best night I have ever had on duck tonight we took 18 between 3 of us. Probably won't be shooting duck again this year and if it wasn't for the need to get picked up before dark would of shot more. They were still coming in really well and was nice to see. A cracking mixed bag of duck, and no nothing will got waste. Karpman

High mileage diesels? Is it a problem with modern engines
karpman replied to scotslad's topic in Motoring Section
Lol we have a 1.3 cdti that comes back on 176k we put a clutch in it the other day. Astra estate by the way. They will do it. The astra 1.7cdti ecoflex or the z17dtj engines seem to be suffering problems with the flow control valve on the pump. All motors have there problems. The engines will essentially do the mileage it's the rest if **** that bolted to em lol. Karpman -

Chances of getting a shotgun certificate.
karpman replied to Chipsnegg's topic in General Shooting Matters
Crack on pal, don't normally say that to folks with such colorful histories but there rarely so honest and upfront. Fingers crossed for ya. Karpman Oh I did 80 hours or so service for the community when I was young, got asked about it and replied honesty got sgc and fac. -
Some good stuff from all eras listen to a wide range to be honest. 90's were my teen years so guess would have to go with that. Oasis and pulp being firm favourites. My iPod includes music from buddy holly, Roy Orbison, Johnny cash, the kinks, right through to the streets and some more modern stuff. Favourite bands ever. James and red bit chillies. Karpman

If nobody ever acted like a moron there would be no doormen, so every drunken **** should just automatically be given a kick in? They no what they sign up for and what they have to and are expected to deal with. Karpman

Hey mate. At all the biggies you have to be there to see what there doing. I go a good few of the Bca and Manheim auctions week in week out, don't forget the buyers fees and vat on top. They will also charge you an admin fee for the log book and a fee for cash or credit card. You have to be a trader to view the auctions online also I think. Karpman

Good on ya, sounds like you played it right and very professional. Could of just kicked the living **** out the guy of course. Mind seen plenty of ****** given a good hiding by bouncers, think in all honesty mind they just turned up for the scrap. Was a regular event for a couple of months. I digress there really was no other way of dealing with em. And they were not scared of going in mob handed. Karpman

That's what you get paid for. Karpman

Drive it like you stole it around the bloke if it clears it's just **** and you shouldn't worry. If it blows up don't blame me lol. This is why modern diesels go into to safe mode and make you drive em at 2000 revs for so many miles. Or when ya put the puter on to do a dpf clean it holds the revs at 3000 rpm for a prolonged time.
