  1. Thanks for the replies guys, the box is fairly heavy but nice and sturdy I also added a hammock to the bottom floor of the hutch this morning, really glad I did as they love it
  2. About seven months ago I made myself a ferret hutch after deciding to start doing a bit of ferreting as well as shooting: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...9&hl=ferret Well with one thing or another (including buying a new house and moving in with the missus) happening i've only just got around to acquiring some this week. Got a couple of Jills from a good friend of mine, 6 months old from working parents and both doing really well so far. They love their new home and I can't wait to get out with them in the near future Also finally got around to making a carrying box today
  3. They are utterly useless, lightweight pieces of toss mate. I bought one brand new and it didnt make it to 42k. Turning circle like an oil tanker (which you'll need to feed it), body work is also **** while still managing to be superior to nissans customer service. If you do a search on here you'll find a few threads about this subject
  4. Pretty nifty, reminds me of pitch black
  5. Looks nice martin, what cal did you go for?
  6. Will be sadly missed bloody great old school actor and great humanitarian. At least he's not suffering anymore. R.I.P Paul.

    hw100

Nice one, he's a miserable old ****** but at least he's thorough at the same time

    hw100

I've heard that some early hw100's were easily messed about with etc so might be worth taking the action out of the stock and having a look at any grub screws etc there may be and beware of scratches and / or rounded heads. As for pellets - get a pellpax sample pack
  9. I was going to say kulashaker also.
  10. I've had two, and they've out performed a lot of more expensive scopes including Hawke, Nikko and MTC.
  11. I use x10 mag for day to day hunting etc and higher mags for FT etc. And I use the green IR during dusk and when lamping with the red filter. Cant explain why all three of the nighteaters i've owned lost zero between trips, but they they certainly had the habit of doing so.
  12. I've got this scope, and it's cracking for the money. I've had 3 Nighteaters, they are very good but never held zero between hunting trips so always had to re-zero at the start of each session.
  13. I used to have an Air Ranger, the mag was very pellet fussy. Bis Mags, Barracudas and Superfields were ok though.
  14. Sorry to hear about your misfortune mung, I had a guy in a new mazda drive into the back of me at the entrance of a roundabout - he ended up with my fronteras tow bar through his radiator and my spare wheel creasing his bonnet I left him by the side of the road and carried on my way
  15. .177 S200 10 shot was my 1st pcp and it was bloody fantastic, thoroughly reccomended also, as already mentioned above, the pellpax sample packs of pellets are the easiest, cheapest and most effective way of finding the best pellet for your gun.
  16. Another vote for .177 penetrators, I was dropping rabbits at 50 yrds a couple of days ago with no problems at all. You need to find the pellet that is most accurate in your gun mate, thats the key. Providing your gun is putting out a decent amount (ft/lb's) then as long as you can put the pellet inthe kill zone - thats game over for your quarry.
  17. Nice one, cheers mate
  18. well said that (large) man

    Car Tax

Sorry to bring this up again guys, I saw a topic in here not so long ago about next years car tax and how to find out how much yours will be. I've done a search and cant seem to find it anybody know what i'm on about? Our lass needs to tax her car in a couple of days and I'm wondering if it's worth doing it for 12 months now before it shoots up. It's a 07 plate 1.8 petrol Focus sport if that makes a differance.
  20. I bought a double cab Navara brand new in 2004, 41k miles later it suffered con rod failure (smashed a massive hole in the side of engine) whilst I was doing 70mph down the motorway on my way to work. Fortunately the roads were quiet and there wasnt an accident etc. Turned out the damage wasnt covered under warranty so we sold the vehicle for next to nothing and have only just finished paying the finance off recently. I now have a 10 year old frontera that has out done the pathetic Nissan time and time again with minimal trouble. Look here: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...nt+buy+a+nissan
