so i heard aweek or two ago jim albone and a mate shot 600+ on a rape feild in kennit not to fair from newmarket. now dont hold me to this because i dont no 1 if its true or 2 if the numbers have been stretched if you no what i mean. i heard it from my game dealer and of too other blokes from round the area. anybody else hear it??

we seem to have plenty round near me at the moment but if there isnt a few of us out keeping them moving about its wasting your time. they move from game strip to rape to freshly ploughed land ect. but when you can keep them moving it can all come together.

with my uncle being a game keeper for G's growers we decided to start on the pigeons. with three bits of game strip cut a week ago we each chose are spot, me my uncle and our good friend. after seeing a good number of birds this weekend just gone we decided to go tuesday. we were all set up by 7 but with thick fog and no wind it wasnt looking to good. i had shot 3 by 10, rang my uncle he had 2 in the bag. as soon as the fog cleared it was 12 by now they started to play ball. birds decoyed we for most of the day. i ended up with 58, my uncle 127 and our friend 57. not to bad but from what we had seen we decided to give it ago the next day in the same place. i didnt expect to shot much or have them decoy but i was rong. i ended today with 52, my uncle 67 and our friend exactly 100. i have just been to the game dealer with 400+ pigeons but at the end of today we realised we havnt even touch the surface on the amount of pigeons on the farm. were going to rest them now till after the weekend and go again. with another 8 or 9 covers yet to still be chopped around the farm fingers crossed we should have some more good days. picture is of my 58 i got tuesday. thanks for reading. matty

Im fairly sure it was quy game fair i heard it, apparently he was gonna sell it to a taxidermist for quiet a bit.. id like to shoot a white woodie to get stuffed would go nice with my jay. I think they do look intresting. Thanks for replys. Matty

Not realy sure if this the rite place to put this but not sure where else to ask it??? My friend shot a white woodie the other week, and just noticed a post in the sporting pics of another white one. I remember hearing a game dealer talking of a black woodie still with white wing bars, has anybody on here ever shot, seen or have a picture of a black woodie??? Just intrests me. Thanks for looking. This jacket has only been worn twice by my girlfriend, she brought it last year and wore it on a cock day with me and once down the clay ground. we still have the receipt for the jack for £350.00, its in mint condition apart from a water stain on the silk inside not seen when worn. its a size 12. it really does look the part on any female, selling due to her not wearing anymore and unable to make any shoots with me due to work commitments. looking for £150, a bargain price for this jacket. please pm if interested with email adress and ill send you photos as files to big to put on here. thanks for looking matty

Are the hammers that need changeing the only tlc it needs??

Ive put a speed controler on it but im fairly sure thats what the problem is. Has anyone else got an "aa" rotary?? Its the one for about £ 50. just goes to slow on one setting and seems to fast on the other??? Thanks for the comments lads. Matty

Never did pass English and spelling at school. Ok so tryed it again today, no luck still stopped. So now on to the next question........ Can a rotary go to fast? Some people must by them and use them as they are??? Thanks Matty

Not sure buddy the speed controler seems to get warm to touch but im dropping the speed of the rotary quite a bit so wouldn't fink that would even over heat it surly? Thanks Matty

evening people, at sandringham game fair i brought an aa decoys rotary from there stall. when i got it home i fort id have a quick go in the garden with it to see how it works, at first it was too slow, so i changed the wire over on the magnet witch i was told to do when i brought it if i wanted to change the speed. but after that it went to quick for me like it was nearly taking off out the ground had a fiddle nothing changed to fort id get a spped controller. order a speed controller from a1 decoys stating a tuff little unite and lasting a long time fort yep that will do for me. used it for one session bout 6 hours couldnt have worked better. now i went to use it again started fine set the speed i wanted and after 10 mins it stopped? turned it off turned it back on went again then stopped. changed batters and still kept stopping. had the hole thing appart re-soldered all connections and double checked everything put it on went for 10 mins a gain and then stopped again. has nebody have nemore sergestions on what it could be?? quite annoying really worked so well befor. thanks matty
