Im a dead bird man really never really liked using man made decoys that said..... When out using dead birds yesterday there were flys all over them from the start. Id be looking for something realistic and durable. I dont like shells. Has to be non shining in sun. I do like the look of the old flexicoy but a bit expensive. Did like the look of ringers socks but ive then got to the full bodys and ive heard of a few comments about them shining. Im undecided what to try, Any forts? Matty

A few shoots i go on have fire, kettle, cooker ect. But they also have shooting magazines, taxidermy, pictures of the shoot. I think thats what really makes it feel like a shoot lodge.

Rio 28g 7.5, kills pigeons as good as any other.

Rio 28g 7.5 has done the job many of times for me. I dont need no more for the longer birds either.

On a farm i used to shoot on grew alot of lettuce, nothing really got on them while they were there but once up and just the old leafs were left they would get on there. A bit like sugar beet in a way with the left over tops.
