Hi mate, shot In the harbour for 8 years. What questions do you have.

I use blindsides they contain cube shaped shot and they are super effective.

It you try this place you might get some where I brought 3" and 3 1/2" off him they ended up being fiocchi

I shoot poole harbour last season a friend and I used a 11' dory. This season we've built a boat 6' on the bean 14' long it's a bit more or a lay out boat and will hopefully be more stable.

Went for a tune up shoot on the clays today, all good there. Building a new boat so I can lay down in it so hopefully that will turn out ok. 3" blindsides and mammoth steel good to go Can't wait.

Get involved with Winchester blind side. A real hard hitting steel cartridge 3" 1 3/8 oz #2 WINNER!!

Steel shot on order. building a new boat for this season, hopefully that will help bag a few more birds...

I was on my final day in the harbour today spent all day in the boat for 1 teal. Great day though.

Has anyone had any problems putting steel through 10g sbs? I'm assuming these guns aren't steel proofed. I've been think of going down the 10b route. I already load 12g 3 1/2, plus I quite like the idea of using a more traditional gun.

I also have a browning 425 waterfowl. I shoot from a boat in poole harbour using steel cartridges and never felt under gunned. It's easier to switch cartridges out if you hear geese that never come. I do laugh while I watch my mate cycle his S/A to change cartridges.

Blackberries work really well I make 'sloe' gin with blackberries and strawberries. Blackberries & strawberries 2 tbsp of vanilla extract 2 tbsp of almond extract plus some sugar leave until xmas, strain, drink!!

I'm gutted i am going to miss the 1st of the season. I'm stuck in a certain country for another couple of weeks until I fly home. I was prep for the season by the 1st of march just waiting!

This is amazing!! I assume a punt gun needs to be proofed? by a proof house I mean? How will you work up your loads or have some other gunners given you a load to follow? This is amazing!

Anyone ever used a GAEP tool or similar to finish/sort out the crimp on a on a home load? if so what was the out come?, worth investing?

wildfowler .250 has agood point thats well i've started reloading. I had to travel from Poole to swindon to get some 3.5 BB. Having said that solway Fe3 34g, Super steel 32 and rem 1 3/8Oz all get cartridges IMO
