  1. GL19 postcode as well... Fairly new to the sport so pm me if you fancy meeting up for a bit of practice. We have a group of guys regularly shooting coleys and South Worcestershire.
  2. Go there regularly with work, you will be fine in the north including Ankara and Istanbul, beardie weirdies live in the south.
  3. Wished I had seen this earlier, please pm me next time you are thinking of it as I will be interested in a lesson for an hour, sw is my local ground and I am planning membership in feb.
  4. Hi, what year is the gun from and have you owned from new?
  5. about the only use for .22 CB once you have caught the *******!
  6. Caught one over last summer. def. voles, very cute, or so I thought until one of the little beggars decided to turn 2 car coolant pipes into vole nesting...
  7. It was a third world industry. Maggie saw the potential for liabilities claims from the atrocious working conditions found down t' pit. The country would have been on its **** with the payments we would now be making to those working in the nationalised coal industry. Why should the government pay subsidies to national coal when it was far cheaper to import from Canada or china from their open cast mines? My sorrow regarding the strikes revolves around the deep divisions between those who continued to work to support their families and those who continued to strike, as well as the lack of investment in re-training of those who lost multi-generational livelihoods. Sad, devisive times, but maggie saw it rightly or wrongly as a battle line against socialism and communism. IMO, she won.
  8. Saw a white lab rabbit round ours just before we got hit bad with mixy this year. Do defra do this to control the local population or something?
  9. borrowed a gen 4 night scope from work the other day, with gen 4 binocular helmet mounted goggs. wont do it again, its not even sport. i was walking up to bunnies 20 yards away and capping them. obviously, if you have a big rabbit problem and doing pest control fair enough, not sporting having done it. btw gen 4 operate down to 3 mililux and weigh 50 grams per tube..... not had a go with the ns200, how far out can you discriminate fox/rabbits?
  10. Fast jets usually work of a 2.5 degree slope, whereas the civvies and big jets use 3 degrees as standard. Looks like a visual. Those fence panels are frangiable for a reason....
  11. Up until the late 80s I remember lengths of barb wire at chest height on my local pheasant beat. Apparently not nice to run into if being chased by farmer in the middle of the night caught poaching.
  12. You won't win. No laws were broken.
  13. In the uk's case, report directly to the sovereign and not the government. It's a system the USA do not have, and can be seen as an ultimate safeguard of our monarchy ruled democratic system. Due to snowden apparently. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2013/jun/21/how-does-gchq-internet-surveillance-work
  14. The government aren't interested in its citizens; its the rotten eggs that they are concerned about. 99.99% of material collected isn't even viewed by a human being, according to the guardian anyhow. How the guardian got away with releasing what they did is a disgrace in the first place, some things simply shouldn't be said.
  15. There is such a thing as the armed forces, which uphold decency and ultimately, protect the populace from renegade politicians who ahem, attempt to overstay their mandate
  16. no laws were broken.
  17. Spent 20 minutes teaching David beckham to fly. Don't believe the Stories about him being thick. Lovely bloke and pretty switched on. We were tempted, but didn't mention rebecca loos.... Sat next to Kelly Brook on the way back from la, on a BA 747" in steerage of all places! Nice girl, thick as mince. Flew a few journos, John Humphries (lovely bloke), John Simpson and very recently Jeff Randall. Ross Kemp ( during his "Ross kemp in Afghanistan" days), seemed a nice bloke, we spent more time with his film crew who were tops. I would love to meet HRH the Duke of E, down the local, supping a pint of warm ale whilst chewing the fat about his days as a navy officer in the war. Seems a lovely bloke from what I hear and pretty striking still when you meet him. Very switched on.
  18. The guy is a traitor. You don't agree to your clearance unless you can hold the responsibility. What the hell did he think the NSA were doing? Still steaming open people's mail after a court order? I would put money on their being an uptick in successful attacks on westerners as a result. If you think you are now safer, you are wrong IMHO.
  19. Just don't buy it with sulphur online unless you want plod knocking. It's a traced product even on the bay of e.
  20. Get some roundup or gallup 360, the agricultural stuff and spray after cutting back to approx 12 inches. Want it nice and strong, 240ml per 10 litres is a good mix. Takes about a month to fully work. Best to attack it in August, when the weeds have the energy stored to last over winter. May need a second spray in the following spring, but after that, should be nailed. You can obtain gallup 360 on amazon.
  21. Pilot (captain) on transport aircraft.
