  1. Hi chaos , what's a good lever action shotgun that you can recommend me ??
  2. Try different types of shotguns side by sides , over and unders , semi autos , pump action , lever action ..... All are very different to shoot I'm after a lever action shotgun but not looked into yet
  3. I have the maxus carbon fibre it's the dogs dangly bits and more very Low recoil and I've never had any problems with the forend clip ,
  4. Eley Olympics 28g and Cheddite cartridges are no problem in my maxus , they go bang and break the clays (sometimes)
  5. Really great place there it's 22p for members and abit more for non members, well worth joining there, you can shoot at your own leisure and have a fantastic day there as well, they've got an archery bit as well . All the staff there are very helpful as well , they've started to sell guns and equipment as well I was there last Tuesday and they've got a nice selection of guns on display for sale
  6. I'm very happy with mine now as well, money well spent
  7. I brought a maxus a few weeks ago i got it home and was looking through the warranty card went online to fill it out but couldn't find the Bar code number anywhere , who cares if I breaks take it back to the shop you got it from
  8. hi ya , my local police force is merseyside police I applied for my sgc back in April, they were pretty quick to come and see me for the interview about 3 weeks in , all went well the feo sent his reports back so all I had to do was wait and wait and wait, 2 months later after many calls to them they finally admitted they LOST all of my paperwork , what the hell !! Re applied again they sped the process up (less than 1 day to be exact) and I picked up my certificate,So my point is always chase them up about the application otherwise you'll be the bottom of the pile somewhere
  9. It really depends on how much ££££££££ you have to spend , but like the above said try as many as you can before you buy one, I'm sure if your a member of a club there are plenty of people who will let you have a go of their guns I also won't bore you to death about gun fit, I'm sure someone will bring the subject up soon
  10. Thanks for the info, I've been getting really use to them now for a few day, a really great bit of kit they are you can hear people's speech like they weren't in your ear and whilst shooting they are fantastic highly recommended at a great price
  11. They are a pain sometimes but when the clays break above you at a fast rate you can see why the glasses can be a must sometimes, I find these Oakleys don't slip at all around the bridge of the nose so very comfy for shooting with
  12. Radar range by Oakley are the dogs dangley

  17. Just got my ACS hearing protection the other day and I've used them for the first time today , I've been using the Napier pro 10 for a few months before these ACS ones , the sound of the shotgun is a lot louder than when I use my Napier ones, has anyone have any experience with them, feedback would be nice thanks or do you reckon I just need to get use to them
  18. Hi pal any chance of some pictures as I'm intrigued of what it looks like, tried googling it but nothing comes up!
  19. I've got the carbon fibre one , it's a beast of a gun especially for clays , the carbon finish is quite a head turner at the grounds,
  20. I'll tell you an unusual thing about the gun, when you fire it, it sort of acts like a semi auto by half ejecting the empty shell out of the chamber so there's a faster reload time
  21. If so I have one it's a beast of pump action , easy to clean and not bad on clays as well got mine a few weeks ago everyone should have a pump action in the cabinet great price as well
  22. Ive been to bamfords and mcavoys befor I got my sgc both very nice bunch of people, both we're willing to do a great deal on their guns, however I visited Malmo guns in Lancaster about 5 mins off junction 33 off the M6, again a great bunch off people I would highly reccomend you go and have a look, their web site has just a selection of guns they have, their selection in the shop is vast my first gun was from there, and so were the others infact
