today I went out and set up in a horse shoe shape with a good size area in the middle but the pigeons land on the edge on the right hand side is this normal can anyone help on this matter

save your money and look around for an small chest freezer you cant beat dead birds

i loved the one were the dad gave his little son the gun to play with and then the little boy shoots him what a plank he deserved that i have 2 girls 8 and ten from time to time they pull the trigger on my shot gun but rest a sured i am allways holding the gun wouldnt even dream of lettting them hold it on their own it is just common sence guns dont kill people do

I have noticed that latley around my perm in licolnshire they are starting to form large no's on the newly planted cabages well they have been the last week or two and no's are getting bigger

Same here went out today on newly planted gabage about 50 flew up so i set up and they just kept comming but flying straight past and would not decoy i rekon we have the most unsociable pigeons in the country iha da flapper a magnet and 6 dead birds on the ground ond one one pigeon came in to say hello why cant we shoot phesent and game birds at this time of the year as there are plenty of them hanging around just outside the hide (saying you cant shoot me ) lol never mind it can only get better fenboy sorry about my typing it is atrocious

the cake looks great but the dog looks like it is ashamed to be with the shooter so keep the cake get rid of the dog as it makes you look like you not very good at shooting that is if the guy on the cake is a image of you lol top marks to the wife

i must say dumping them in a puplic place is bang out of order but i myself from time to time trow away a few pigeons on one of my perms as the farmer has been on the farm for 40 years and only ever seen one fox and me myself on the other hand love to see foxes in the feild and will not shoot a fox. i am not saying shooting foxes is wrong it is just a personal thingand when i last spoke to the farmer he told me he had seen two in the last week and loved the sight of them . the birds i dump though are birds that i have shot and frozen then used as decs in the feild as i prefer dead birds as oppose to plastic ones, as you cant really eat these birds after they have been frozen a few times but they feed the wild life witch cant be a bad thing and the farmer dont mind me leaving a few dead birds in the feild .but remember not all farmers like dead birds left so befor you dump birds just check with the farmer

i have seen a similar thing in south africa where an old guy he was a farmer and decided he would reload his own rounds so went to the gun shop bought a reloading kit and happy days.the problem was in his eyes some of the kit was not needed he just put a detinator cap in the shell then filled it with powder and pressed the point in now we have a bullet so he thought yes it wernt long befor he came in to the gun shop saying he needed a new gun as the barrel on his old gun must have been worn not the case the gun dealer told him after knowing how the guy was rloading his own rounds and yes the rifle was a mess

i am on chicken duty this week as my sister inlaw has gone away for a week so i have to let the chickens out but across from her house i saw a farmer setting potatoes if his feild and to get to the point when and if pigeons go on potatoe feilds can any one give me some advise please

ye today was a struggle got 6 pigeons and 2 crows and a jackdor but the birds were far and few between lately i have found better shooting in worse wether than today

sorry to say but i am old school if i see kids behaving like this there is only one way a good smack a few years ago when my youngest girl was born she was only 2 days i had a bunch of yobs across the road with a ford escort music loud and engine reving so out came the side cutters i went over to the driver and said what engine you got in that car sounds sweet that was it he opened the bonnet to show me his pride and joy then it was my turn i cut every plug wire and told him if there was any more noise his speakers were next never seen them again

yes i was struggleing to day from 7am till 12 i got 2 pigeons but the good thing was behind my hide was some old wheat and it was full of rats so i i let them have it instead got 10rats

well done lads i have had the same here they just love drilled barley

and fen forgot to mention that without flynn the dog we would not have had 50 as finding pigeons in brussles ant easy lol
