I think Durrants in Worcester or maybe shooting supplies in Bromsgrove would buy them if they are in good condition, although they probably wouldn't give you top money for them, you would better of selling them on gunwatch, I have no idea what they are worth.

I spoke to a real human being! I have a feeling they don't answer after about 3 o'clock so could be why you had no joy. Almost as bad as the DVLA!

Just spoke to them, my application is with intelligence who are doing the background check, the chap I spoke to refused to give me a rough timescale as to how long it will be. I suppose I will have to keep waiting!

I have bought a couple of guns from Braces, really can't fault the service.

Just dropped my FAC application off with the firearms team in Malvern, the chap I spoke to seemed to think it was going to take about 2 months to process. He also said he does not like the new forms and the new licenses are too small! He was quite helpful though, and said they have had a load of new staff start recently and although they are inexperienced they are nearly up to speed so waiting times should come down.

What about those c-lect(?) Adjustable chokes are they worth having? I have my heart set on a 590 as soon as I get my fac sorted.

The only problem I have had with mine is spring inside the gas piston broke and it wouldn't cycle, I believe this is a common problem with the maxus, but is not expensive to fix. If in doubt take it to a gunsmith!

Unfortunately I don't have a scope for it yet as the one I have ordered is out of stock, very frustrating as I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet! I am a very patient person, also they did have a few problems with them when they first came out and they all had to be recalled so Diana could sort them, I knew I would get it eventually!
