  3. This item is brand new and unmarked... I bought it to put on my rifle and quickly decided it was far to nice to damage it in the field..... Yes I know that sounds daft but it's a working gun and I'd be too scared to scratch it!!! 😳 Pretty sure you'll struggle to get one of these as they don't come up very often £225 Ono posted (which will be fully insured) cheers tedly

  7. Well after knowing Mr B and his good lady for a number of years now I have come to the conclusion that his good lady needs a medal for putting up with him for 50 odd years!!! Enjoy your hols old man.... (Well you didn't expect me to put anything soppy up did you Mr B) Tedly PS, I'm going crow shooting in the morning, hides already up and everything is ready to go..... your missing out... and my bloody shooting partner isn't with me... selfish you going on your hols!!

  10. This gun is pampered and I can honestly say mint.... I've seen and shot it and it's owner has ocd about cleaning guns! so much so I give him one of mine to clean after a days shooting.... Person who buys this won't be disappointed.. Tedly
  11. Mines got a 16" barrel and a decent mod, I shoot the same ammo as the poster with no issues at all! Its important you shoot it in the right conditions but I'm happy to head shoot rabbits well past 150 yards, I've never had a problem with mine but each to there own!! It's a tool for a job and it does it very well for me... tedly
  12. Had five in the past month in the garden with the hushpower .410 Tedly 1676
  13. I've had x5's as company cars for the last 6 years, there a great alrounder with plenty of room and can hustle when needed! watch out when changing the tyres as if you have more than 4mm difference between front and rears it messes with the traction controls brain and can make the car think that it's in a slide when it's not....! Other than that I've had suspension issues however I do a huge yearly mileage so bushes etc will need changing... oh and as someone else has said, they are heavy and carp on snow, mud, wet grass well anything other than Tarmac.... Hope you enjoy, tedly ps, is it weird that I'd like a defender!!
  14. It's my "go to" gun, so underrated the little .410 and I always like a challenge... cheers rs for the comments guys,. Tedly
  15. Ha ha all dead, started at sun up (set up night before) this must of been one of the first.... I missed a lot early on as first time with a husher. tedly
  16. Well guys it's been a while, hope everyone's ok... ive had one of those years where I can't keep up with things, some good some bad however I've tried to make some time for myself! I've got a few photos coming your way one of which is very special but this was just a vermin control exercise. this was on a perm that's noise sensitive but has a massive corvid problem so I borrowed a mates hushpower just to see if I got on with it (I've bought my own now) carts are 16g 6's by gamebore and it's mainly jacks with a couple of carrions. tedly
  17. It was 100 yards and you know it...
  18. As a general rule use as many decoys as you can, myself and Browning123 have about 40 full bodied between us and then everything that's shot gets added to the pattern. i also try and put a roof over the hide as I find this helps a lot, however the biggest thing by far especially with carrions is to keep as still as you can until there in range, if you move before there in range they'll spot you and won't come near for the rest of the session... i also have a primos caller which I find can be every effective... hope this helps Tedly ps, I shoot most of my crows with a .410 so I've learnt the art of being still!!!
  19. Awesome rifle.... Love mine wouldn't change it for any other hmr
