  1. Note that this will also get the brambles growing though...
  2. Have you considered the 17 Hornet?
  3. Never seen a rabbit like that. Never come across a dog called Stuart either though

    Laptop

anything with a price ending in £---.97p is end of line clearance in Currys, FYI. Feel the laptops underneath - and reject the hotter ones. The cooler ones will have better battery life typically & are more pleasant to use on your lap/sofa/bed etc. You only need powerful power hungry processors for video editing & games. If you don't want to store many photos then don't pay more for a large hard disk - consider a SSD only.
  5. frankly, if you can't open a bottle without a tool then your most exiting tool probably isn't very exciting
  6. I know - I'm not digging at him - just the morons who think they look cool with ultraviolet lights (& the retrofit HID's without any levelling) It's a shame that somebody somewhere decided to market the idea of lights with a higher colour temperature working better in rain/fog. China then followed. Even Halfords fell for it.
  7. Get the hot water hosepipe going asap - clock's ticking. I would use up every last Amp of electricity available in the place warming it up
  8. Had you not said you were a novice, I wouldn't have mentioned it... but have you also considered 243? Not quite as laser like as the 250, but much better in wind. As for which model to get, I'd go for the one sold by the person who gives you the best opportunity to return it if it doesn't shoot well.
  9. I thought it was illegal to use the blue tinted lights unless you were a boy racer cretin pretending to have HID lights. With blacked out glass, furry dice & tuned exhaust it then becomes chav-legal
  10. Moan like hell. Turn on the heater myself. I'd also look at the hot water supply & any electric showers to see if I could feed as much hot water as possible into the pool with some hose pipe

    Endoscopy

I've had the full spit roast. Each was unpleasant, but not enough to lose sleep over if I had a return visit.
  12. what if you don't have time to think twice? Simple rule in my eyes - never startle/frighten/move quickly/etc a copper with a gun drawn. I'm not saying you deserve to get shot, but you should expect it.
  13. MS660 chainsaw with 20" bar. Glides through timber, but hold tight just in case it suddenly decides it's no longer a vegetarian..
  14. You could take out the batteries for a simple fix I guess, but it would probably be better to remove the charging circuit too. Looks like 2 Live connections. I would assume one should be permanent, and the other for on/off control. So you could potentially use them as is & have them turn on upon loss of power, which my be useful. I've no recent experience with these though & can't zoom in to see enough detail

    CCTV

Been watching too many films where they zoom in, or just tell the computer to 'enhance'. It's all b*llsh*t unfortunately. For £300 you don't get sharp images where you can zoom in to get more detail, especially at night.
