I'm new to shooting, if I dropped a bird at 40 yards, it's been an unlucky bird not a good shot haha, at the moment I'm missing many more birds than I'm hitting, I'm reducing my range to30 and below for a shot now until I get a better hit ratio,

If anyone has a "range" outlet by them, they have duck decoys in the garden section for a few quid, nothing special but cheapish.

I'd of guessed at a couple of thousand, not a lot I suppose by some of the standards iv seen on some video clips... They were roosting on the other side of the estuary and feeding in 3 different directions, unfortunately the one we were sat on was the least used haha

Hi kent, thanks for reply I was going out last season after Xmas with mates, and there were quite a lot of pink about, we had them come into decoys a few times, only used a few and the lads were calling as well, they used fuds and half bodies.". I was thinking of silos to add a bit of movement as and when... As for calls I think I'm starting to do everyone's head in now, it isn't just me doing it, the kids are on them as well haha

Hi anser2, should of mentioned I got grey and pink callers from eddie Nixon, and triple threat duck call. Been looking at decoy reviews on here, was thinking of ghg or sports plast for duck(any opinions on which welcomed) and was going to get some sillosocks for pinks. I'm based up in cumbria and will be joining the Furness wildfowler a, .....can't wait

You can get it fixed to stone by drilling holes where needed, cutting stud iron to length required, then fixing them with apoxy resin, place cabinet over stud iron then tighten with nut and washer.
