  1. Oh well, judging by you fellas who at 40-50 seasons in, looks like I'll have to learn to deal with it haha,
  2. Well that's my first season done, ......does it always feel this bad waiting for September or does it get better in time ?
  3. First season for me and thoroughly enjoyed it, can't remember how many flights but average 4-5 mornings a week, had plenty of duck but a lot more blanks, always seem to be in wrong place for the geese(missed a good few when I was in right place too).. Ended the season with a week in wigtown... Amazed at amount of geese,spectacular at daw but also peed off at the ****,s that shoot at sky high birds... Managed to bag two so ended happily... Looking forward to September

    Hia folks, I'm looking into getting a few of the landing goose decoys, iv seen the sillosock pink ones, which look great, has anyone got the chris green pink/greylag ones?iv looked on web but can't find a picture of one, only pic is the one on his site, if any one has one, could the put a picture up please so I could see the size and detail please, thanks

  7. Funny how times alter around country, I was out this morning and couldn't see till about 7.20ish... In mornings watching that gmtv it's clear daylight in window behind them yet still black outside of ours..

  10. Me and another member off here witnessed lads shooting at sky high geese earlier on in the week, no need... As for blanks iv just got back from 6th session session since Xmas without lifting my gun... Haha, definitely a patient game this wildfowling lark
  11. Had a cold morning out yesterday, plenty about but not within my range, had 5 chancy shots at widgeon, missed them all, so ended with a blank. Then out on a different spot this morning, good few hundred pintail moving about none came anywhere near ,didn't get a shot so blanked again, hopefully better luck tomorrow... Still nice being out
  12. Hahaha, I could just do with a pizza now.... I'll be gettin some of them cartridge ordered, that's cheap, if I'm going to miss geese May as well do it cheaply hahaha

  15. They look great, I'd always imagine birds to be harder to do than mammals, there excellent
  16. I'm lucky enough to have different marshes with in a few mile of home, so go when ever, I'm self employed so do work around shooting, wildfowling fits into my life very easily, can go at the drop of hat.
  17. Iv got the eddie Nixon ones too, got a conductor mallard call, but it's too pretty to use on the marsh, beautiful piece of work

  20. I chose a lab for my first and current gundog, been a pleasure to train, really happy with the dog, I did look into a chesespeake,but the protective issues put me off
