  1. If you have shot anything and it is wounded it should be the priority over anything dead. The dead do not suffer once they are dead that's it . If they float away on the tide and you lose them at least they are not suffering, disappointing as it is. Anything wounded is going to leg it if it can and hide making it harder to find and if not found is going to suffer and die slowly and that is the responsibility of the shooter. From an ethical and moral point of view wounded should always be a priority over dead game.
  2. I must admit with my Daystate Mk4 I prefer to use single shot with a Westy Tray replacing the tray that came with the gun. The 10 shot cartridge does take a while to fill. Where it would come into its own is if you get multiple shots in the field up to 10 where speed matters with a prefilled cartridge. I have only used mine on Target shooting as yet, but prefer the single tray so far. When I have shot my Mk4 with OH who also has a Mk4 I can shoot more faster once we get past 10 and he has to refill. On field sports when moving from target area to target area at the main club I go to you have to remove Multi shot cartridges and replace at the next area, so most just use the single tray. The Westy is faster to load than the flat tray that came with the rifle.
  3. £225 is a good price for a AFOS table in Stainless. They cost thousands new. Hope you soon get a buyer.
  4. Me not sensible on option 2. My 410 is a S/S with 3" chambers, not hushpower. Its quieter than the 12 bore. They all sound quiet with the ear defenders on though.
  5. Depends where in the Argos catalogue you were aiming for.
  6. Do you have to apply for it as I never have.
  7. Wonder if they will rebuild Adrians Wall. Maybe we can get some Irish navvies over to sort it. They made a good job of the Canals and the Railways
  8. Will not worry us. Have not renewed my passport in Years neither has OH. Sister and Brother in Law never had one.
  9. Youve been Googling I see. Kanga doesn't Twitter he has an excellent vocabulary. Has had plenty to copy over the year. They are not called Yellow Backed Chattering Lories for nothing.
  10. No problem. My sister and brother in law are both in there sixties and they never bothered learning to drive so being able to drive is not a good indicator. My daughter at 30 is only just learning to drive.
  11. Will be interested to see what my Brother in Law thinks when I see him next. He was born in Methyl Fife, but has lived in England for the last 50 years. Will he need a passport or will he now be classed as Naturalised English. He is in Scotland visiting at the moment. Maybe they won't let him back and my sister will have to apply for residency in Scotland.
  12. We will look forward to seeing them. An old school friend emigrated from my home town in Nottinghamshire to New Zealand.
  13. No bunnies are what you keep as pets, these are rabbits.
  14. Welcome to Pigeon Watch. Are you really allowed to hunt Kiwi.
  15. That is an impressive spider. I don't pick them up anymore after one of my colleagues was bitten on his hand by one and had a bad reaction. Not sure what species it was, but he spent some weeks in hospital.
  16. Just like I remembered them. Funny to think they are a lizard and not a snake. I used to see them down Cornwall on family holidays.
