The passive CENS are just ear plugs moulded to fit in your ear comfortably. I believe you can upgrade the passive ones to the electronic ones though if you decide to at a later date (you might have to stipulate at time of buying you want this option as it maybe just certain models that can upgrade, not sure).

Post office sell licences for day, week or year.

You can fish Stocks from the bank. There's an EA section on the Ribble that you can fish for trout, see their website. Not sure if they are still doing them but at Kelbrook you can pick up 1000 Eley First Selects in 21/24/28 gram for £145. I got pick some up 3 weeks ago.

Think you have a typo on the 24g clay list on the Eley Rebels. You've put 1818 but I think it should read 1318. I'm into my last slab of a 1000 I bought of the size 8 shot and love em. They are a bit expensive at £182 a 1000 though from sporting targets. -
I'm using Eley Rebel 24g 8's and I love them apart from the price. Need to find a cheaper cart.

So are you booked off work tomorrow to go get your first shotgun, lol. Not buying a gun straight away is one of the hardest things once your first SGC comes through. Take your time and find the right price and fit for you.

Found this table on the interweb http://shotshell.drundel.com/pelletcount.htm Tried to paste it in but it lost formatting.

Welcome from another Leylander.

I had that pop up a couple of weeks ago but didn't fill it in yet. There's a reminder icon in my start-up tray though to register when I'm ready/if I want to.

If they placed one outside parliament you'd never see an MP inside if they did that.

I counted 9 of these being used at Flitwick on Sunday including one of the guys I go with using his for the first time while I've been out with him. Problem with his is it wasn't long enough for his 30" barrel S/A with extended choke and the stock stuck 2" out the end. He still had to Carry a cartridge bag as well and was a bu@@er to get in the boot of a mondeo with 3 other gun slips.

Hi Pothunter. Yes you can register your gun at two places. I got my SGC in Lancashire but work in Bedfordshire. I rent a room down here in someone's house and go back to Lancashire every couple of weeks to have my kids for the weekend. I discussed keeping the shotgun at both addresses when I applied and he (my FEO) was fine with it. I contacted Beds & Hearts licensing and they came out and inspected where I wanted to put the safe down here and then after installation. They then contacted Lancashire licensing to add this address to my details as a place I store my shotgun. Got a text from Lancs FEO to confirm details were added and was fine to start storing my gun here.

I've also got the same model and love it. 2 Semi-Auto guys I shoot with had a go on the clays and both loved it as well. Very well balanced gun they both said and shoots like a dream.
