3 tonight, furthest at 500m with the 6xc 2407 -
My current setup. This current mount I don't like, but it pushes the scope forward. Let's see how it holds out.

Ditto. fox shooting is a solo affair unless lamping, which I hate.

What are your credentials?

Best one I ever went to was in Hagley on the Main Street. Awesome

To be honest farmboy, the problem isn't making money out of it. We tried it, and the pigeon shooters just took the ****. And it's a shame really, but we will never have a syndicated shoot again. It will be down to me.......when I learn to shoot

Best chippy' sin the world are in the Midlands

Ha ha, OK tonight I think I saw 7 pigeons.....I shot at them. 14 cartridges and 0 pigeons. I feel like a human scarecrow. Are there any good instructional books on pigeon shooting?
-
Maybe, I shoot a load more foxes with it than with out. The frequency of outings hasn't changed. I get my get paid for also, but I guess if your not I that position what ever you can afford needs to work
-
Do you pay for your pigeon shooting? Sorry if that's a niave question
-
To be honest foxing really is only best done by NV nowadays. That said I do shoot a handful in other ways each year.
-
Ok so I tried this with both pigeon and fox cartridges. The outcome is simple....the gun is fine, the fleshy end is the problem. I think I'm just not giving enough lead. The other surprise is my fox catridges. Jees, I set up my target at 30m and shot at aiming marker and it just put a big hole in target. Inside the big oak which was behind the target was a huge hole also with a plastic wad full of BB's or similar. It was mental.

I hate drugs of all kinds, I'm lucky (or not) to deal with the criminals at route cause; be it Afghanistan, Morocco, all the way to Mexico. the people up and down the drug scale these individuals are cancers destroying society, and I quite openly challenge any one who goes anywhere near it.

The refurb Foxpro from Bushwear is a really good buy, I account for 80% of my foxes using it

This year has lent itself to a good fox population, but on my land we don't see that many. Simply because there is a intensive predation control program in place. You might also find that the Cubs are being seen earlier this year due to how mild it's been building up to the mating period

I do ALOT of this in winter. I use a air rifle with night vision. I only use .177. Last year I shot 1032 rats over various farms.
