  1. I take it thats a no then ?
  2. It is immiscible with water , ie it mixes with water thus displacing it by soaking it up (that's not strictly correct but I can't think of a simpler explanation). WD40 is >90% hydrocarbons and petroleum distillates it is NOT a lubricant nor is it oil based. Spray it on leave a little behind and over time water will saturate it and the metal underneath will rust.
  3. WD40 is not a good thing to use on a gun, appart from all of the good advice above it is hygroscopic (ie. it attracts water) so if you do use it, as a first pass cleaner, you must remove all traces and apply a thin coat of oil to finish. Legia Spray is a very good alternative has all of the positive properties and none of the negative.
  4. How do I clean mine ? ... dilligently - using kitchen roll and a plastic jag soaked in 303 , repeat until clean. Wiping down the outside with Legia before putting away
  5. I'll take the MUSTO if still available ??
  6. Really nice shotgun, good price too - I just bought one otherwise i'd have had that. I spent ages looking for a good Beretta multichoke. The SP2 is a great all rounder and for £1000 it's an excellent deal. Have a bump on me
  7. If you were to change your eMail settings to PLAIN TEXT these scams are plainly obvious, anyone who received eMails in HTML format is susceptible to a huge number of data breaches (just by viwing the email) ...
  8. Deal done ... Still looking for Full & X-Full (White/Grey) or any other extended/ported chokes ??
  9. Looking for some extended or extended-ported optimachokes for an 'OB' barrelled Beretta. Ideally Cylinder, 1/4, Light-Full and Full - any make considered. Cheers
  10. I bought a Daystate Bullpup and it was a mistake. The rifle has lots of irritating issues and to get a scope to fit your eye properly is extremely difficult, you could of course buy an MTC scope (which are marketed, and sold overpriced, by Daystate) and fit it to their wobble rail but it's cr*p. Their customer service is 'non-existant' (by their own admission) as they 'don't talk to their end users, just the resellers'. Irf you do get through to anyone they are so under the thumb of the middle/upper management control freaks that it's all a secret and are as much help as a chocolate teapot. Daystate are Diana and charge an abolute fortune for assembling a bunch of cheap parts (they don't make anything) and adding a lashing of marketing hype (which they are quite good at). Some of their components are very good but unfortunately their airguns are bi-polar in this regard. If you can afford it and you get a good-un they are OK, if you stretch yourself to get one thinking it will be good and you will get great customer service, you have been fooled.

  13. What will they get into next - for an air gun company they do seem to be getting diverse ... it'll just be a rebadged Chinese unit ... if thats what you are looking for try one of these http://tinyurl.com/ybbvz26x
  14. What is underneath this KBX Hi Force vent top ??
  15. Keep this up and you'll not be taking it off road as it'll get dirty and scratched
  16. I would have tought an oil coat would have stopped any rusting too but it won't remove any. Perhaps you need to run an oil soaked nylon brush through the bore a few times to loosen any residue first and then clean ? The nylon won't score the bore at all so you can scrub away to your hearts content.
  17. Do backward poets write inverse ?
