  1. Lorus Lumibrite too. Always wanted one as a child. Cheap, practical, reliable and fairly stylish. Lasted better than more expensive watches. I rate Timex too. Still got my 7 year old birthday one.
  2. I'm interested. If you'd care to let me know more details I can make a decision. Thanks for replying.
  3. Hi We're finally getting around to sorting out a mobile for my daughter. IPhone 7, any memory size, good condition, no dead or dying batteries, no broken screens. Maximum budget of £120. Thanks for reading I'm based in Hindhead, Surrey.
  4. The funniest thing I've read in ages!
  5. Listen......... do you smell something? Dead pan delivery from Ray Stanz / Dan Aykroyd.
  6. Hi, Does this come with chokes please? If so, which ones? I'd like to see some photos if you can upload any? Many thanks
  7. Yes. Some viral thing from Christmas Eve onwards. Finally have enough breath in my body to venture out and I'm faced with hundreds of people walking 5 abreast.
  8. Just a quick thank you to all the Townies that descend on the countryside at Christmas. I doff my cap in your general direction and appreciate you taking the time to visit us. Without you cramming our pubs while bored between Christmas and New Year, without you parking on narrow lanes because your ilk have already filled the beauty spot car park, without you parking on double yellows because it's closer, without you looking like you're dressed for a day in court rather than a walk, without your trendy breed dogs wearing your Christmas jumpers, without you looking down your noses as I walk my dog in the same places I have for the last dozen years, without you kindly piling up rubbish miles from a bin but altogether in one place for someone else to take away, without your mountain of ***** next to the dog poo bin (simply couldn't take it home) and without you stopping in the middle of the road forcing me into the verge as you simply cannot sully your Nissan Duke...... life would be too dull. Thanks for coming. I look forward to Easter and Summer when you pile our bins high with still smoldering barbeques and allow us to go the long way round as you've blocked the road. Silly us, we should make more of the countryside a car park.
  9. So, to anyone still out there, I found a new job in surveying but as a manager. It hasn't been right for a while, commuting 2 hours a day, dull work, unfulfilling, just generally unhappy. The threat of Brexit hasn't made my job any more secure as projects are getting harder to win. I've applied to Network Rail and been offered a role add a Signaller. I've worked on the rail as a surveyor, so this stood me in good stead. I head off to signalling school in April. I'm chuffed to bits. It takes time, but it usually comes good in the end. Good salary, good conditions, good annual leave and hopefully a decent pension. And maybe more time off to shoot too. Cheers
  10. Morning Chris Is this still available please? Cheers
  11. Thank you. I have memories of a pair of tan school shoes that I loved, then hated a couple of weeks later. My mum dyed them for me. Bless her, they looked awful. I had the Mickey taken out of me at school. I'd hate a repeat performance. I've applied dubbin to my bag, I assume that'll come of with turps?
  12. Throughout my shooting career I've bought pretty much everything second hand. Chuffed to bits with some of my purchases. However, as much as I like the design of my cartridge bag, it's a rather bright tan leather colour. Any ideas how to tone this down? I have a cartridge belt in an almost identical colour too. Any assistance greatly received.
  13. Hi Jeff, Would you be willing to do £35 including postage please? Thanks
  14. Does this have a game pocket on the rear please? A further photo would be great. Also, where abouts are you? Thanks
