  1. Had a similar insident with a monkjack i was in my jack pyke oak leaf ghilly suit sitting in the leaves against a tree when it appreared qnd got wothing probably 2 meters and then got weary of a smell but couldnt figure out where from. I was extremely impressed
  2. I have the hawke airmax 30 compact 3-12x40 on my SFS Imp .22 and its great but eye relief is little. Whats your budget?
  3. Whata shame sorry to hear of this. Drug /drink driving is totally unaceptable and the outcome by tge courts should be higher however as mentioned above once consumed the substances your brain isnt thinking the same. Not qn excuse. I love my fast bikes and fast cars and when safe to use would however still breaking the law by doing it. Over taling whilst under the influance on a bend... well one word... IDIOT.. doesnt matter what your in. Car or in a bike tge persin behind it is the issue.
  4. 400 is a great starting point to be fair for FFP.. you may be able to get a Hawke Sidewinder FFP for that or if you want to look at the Athlon Argos there a fantastic scope with lifetime warranty. There after service care is incredible. I have a pard 007. All depends what your using it for if more work will be in the day time id go for a scope. And qdd the 007 on. However the 008 is great im not sure of the range you can see properly with or its full capabilities. Ah... i was being lazy... lol
  5. I have a thing for by the best i can for the money i can afford at the time. What has the most for the application. If i swap a rifle and the scopes not what u want fpr that rifle ill change it. Tbf my wife bought me the hawke vantage 6-24×44 30 sf i disnt need dialing turrets but it has them and there quite shallow so stqy out the way which is what i wanted. The xtx ultra has a hawke airmax 30 sf ir 3-12x50 AMX. Suits it perfectly. Ypu can dial on that properly. The bantam sniper hr has the Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50 FFP on and that dials well. SFS HW imp has hawke airmax 30 compact 3-12x40 on that has dialing turrets not used it properly yet though. I do like to hold over most of the time as they all have stickers for ranges on great for quick hunting poa. Dialings good for target and tracking from prone possition Where are you from mate? PAO are based in stonnel way lichfield. They guy who owns it use to work work weblry and thats where the designs came from not seen his current scopes but when i was in the workshop talking to him few years ago ot was comming on alot and new pipeline products looks good. What sort of money are you looking at spending?
  6. Lol she may be windy lol.. The one i used today was chemical guys snow foam. There usially all quite good if you get the solution and setup right. I always go a little more of the snow foam to water.
  7. Hawke airmax 30 does and the hawke airmax 30 compact does and i have both lol. Oh and my tx200 has a hawke vantage on it and that does aswell lol.
  8. Lol id get such a row if i did that lol
  9. Yeqh depends how you wash your motor. Its for those who want to remove surface grime first. You jet was the car down first. Then add snow foam. Leave for 5 minutes whilst waiting. Clean the wheels. Then jet wash it all off. I then use the bucket with shampoo to wash the car

    GRRRRR

Ok so... its windy... my wifes got a cold... no Corona virus lol. So o thought id go and wash the cars, get the leaves up amd jet was the drive down. Dont try and was your car in gail force winds.. its not ammusing as i wore most of the water. So i use snow foam first to get all the grime off leaving the car looking like a pile of whike snow. Start jet washing it off and rattle rattle.. the jet wash packs in.. so now im left to do it with the normal hose. Because the car was so dirty now squeeky clean and looking freeeesh. The drives rotten dirty tge mrs is guna kill me.. the normal hose does shift it all very easy and jrt wash dead so just spent over an hour with persil and a broom and normal hose cleaning 80square meters of drive by hqnd... lesson learnt. Should have just got the rifles out and pretended to clean them 😂
  11. I was in essex for a few days last week. Could have dropoing in lol
  12. Ill be honest all mine apart from the bantam sniper are SFP scopes so mill dots are what i use. With the bantam i have an Athlon Argos Btr FFP scope and i do like figgy enjoy messing with the mag and actually dialing the turrets. Im guessing you can also dial the turrets on the SFP scope
  13. My father in law has now got a .177 bsa r10 appsolute tac driver i can put 10 AA fields in the same hole at 40m with it. Hes a new shooter but wants to hunt. Understanable. But a new shooter My advuce to anyone no matter how long youve been shooting for is paper.. close near and far. Understand your rifle.. Practice your shot placements for all ranges. Prone nealing and standing. If you struggle with one practice more.. untill you can keep doing it. Only then should you go hunting and then you should know where the kill zones are and the effectivness of your shot at range given. If its not a safe shot /clean kill do not even touch the trigger
  14. Lol road kill for serious testers ay figgy. Ill leave that to you haha.. soap to was your hands with after you picked it out lol
  15. I pellet test at 30m if there good i push the out to 40 then 50 and test again at further out. As i find them still good at 8m to 30m its all good. I use h&n barracuda match. Lots of stopping power and energy down range
  16. Lol no seriously how do you figure it out lol
  17. No mate not been shooting yet may be out sunday but only have about 90m at that shoot. So may have to wait a little. Lol How do you put in strelock the lubed part lol
  18. Correct mate, however im just curious to what the 10 grain hybrid slug will be like for evwn furtger ranges to play with
  19. You dont need a slug barrel for hybrids stu. The y shoot better in nomal barrel unless going fpr the neilson slugs
  20. Ive had similar issues in the past with my calibrations. Ive found 30m zero spot on with litrally 1 hole group, 1.5 mil drop at 45m and should be 2 3/4 mil at 50m but mine does 2.5 mil at 50 so wonder if lubes doing this yet put it further out and its bang on
  21. Just want a .177 10 grain slug... commme onnn lol
  22. Yeah not a great design if there not fail safe. Be better if they were power fqil safe or had a battery backup or manual release switch hidden somewhere
  23. Try bisley magnums mate bsa barrels usually love them
