wacker
Is it just me or do they tend to; A, stick in mags B, hard to cycle C, fly faster and make more noise D, More recoil. Tried the cci segemented and they are the same - won't be buying any more.

steve_b_wales
Try Winchester 40Gr Sub's. I've shot 1000's of them in various rifles and not had any problems.
willy1
My Cz .22 dislikes CCi subs, tight to chamber, some go supersonic, and extraction problems,I now stick to Winchester x subs. I've also tried the new CCi Segmented Hollow Points, very noisy, and not too accurate, and at twice the price of standard subs i'll not be buying any more. wacker
Wierd that some CZ's like them and some don't. I have an Anschutz, it doesn't like them at all. Was speaking to a bloke in the shop today, he said they had to send a batch back as customers were complianing that in some cases, they were very hard to chamber and that the extractor was pulling the end of the case off! :look: Bought 100 lapua subsonic hollowpoint today to see how the Annie likes them
njc110381
Funny you say that, my 10/22 used to love CCI subs! I found both Eley and Winchester rounds fouled the mag up much more quickly. The Eleys were a tad more accurate but I couldn't go much over 50 rounds before I had a jam.
pigeon master
My Sako wont fire them, the rim is to thick for the bolt to close, OK if your bolt has some play but mine has none. So my view is this, if they are going to sell these cartridges atleast make them fit all .22LR rifles and not just the ones thats have rattling bolts. Tin Man Work
My CZ452 varmint works superbly on CCI Subs, and we tried every ammo brand we could get hold of to see which worked best. I then run the CCIs through a Paco Kelly tool to take them to .224 and the grouping is superb. and they hit hard as well.

rabbithunter
I was thinking for trying CCI,s at the weekend , does anyone shoot them though a bolt action Anschutz ? if so what are they like . WGD
I've tried the segmented CCI subs in my Sako quad, only problem - and it's not really one TBH - is that they are tighter to chamber. But they are not as accurate as Winchester so I won't be buying any more.
bullet boy
Winchester Subs go great in my Ruger 10/22!
wymberley
I was thinking for trying CCI,s at the weekend , does anyone shoot them though a bolt action Anschutz ? if so what are they like .Richard Yep, two different models, no problems as such, but the Winchester is more accurate so that's what I now use.
