ollie
Went out on Saturday despite the terrible weather and had quite a good day on the Woodcock. Myself and my mate rise about 15 woodcock in total and ended up shooting 6 woodcock and 1 pigeon. Not many misses but some of the birds we weren't able to get a shot at because of the weather. My mate had a chance at his 1st ever right and left but missed the 2nd bird after shooting the 1st. Pics attached, 1 of my pup (Dawn) retrieving a woodcock, 1 of myself with the bag and a close up of the bag. We saw quite a lot of pigeons in a small wood and decided to have a go at them on Sunday evening but I will put the pics in a different thread. Piebob
A couple of woodcock, gizzards removed, ready for bacon and roasting tomorrow. I was the only one that didn't bag at least one on Saturday.
