KillStone
having had little success at roost shooting this year i went down to a local permission and thought i would be wasting my time as it wasnt particularly cold windy or spiteful. Got into position and insatantly thrown into the action. These birds were high, some miles out of range but i did pull of some spectacular shots at fast birds as they came over at around 40-50 yards. Dad came down later on and i could hear him having some good sport. 1.5 hours later i went to meet him and as he told me about some of his triumphs. Anyway it transpires that in total we had shot just over 70 birds between us with just over 100 carts. not too bad for high birds, and some great fun!!! KillStone
no everything deserves a sporting chance. to be honest if i am shooting even a stationary target has a good chance!!!!(not that i would take a shot at a stationary bird)
