JonD
Yup - thats the problem - lost 3 on high 1 on first 2 rounds  Unlucky 3 on high 1 must hurt We had planned to head to Dartford today but by the time I had been to hospital for dressing I would have been there late and 100 in comp is an ask at the moment Haven't been shooting much due to emergency surgery a couple of weeks ago, went with a sod it attitude and shot my first straight, well happy to get it within the year. I really know what you mean re the pressure, hopefully the open should be a bit less pressure as I know all of the squad bar one i'm shooting with. You shooting the British Open in Aug? Jon. Paul223
Forgot to mention todays funny bits My mate Alun picking up some other blokes side by side and trying it out for size and while doing so the stick on comb raiser falling off alun turning to one side to hide his attemps to reafix it on, Rob and me and then catching the same pair of shooters up on another stand and the bloke was no longer using the comb raiser also marking Rob and on his first straight of the day (10/10) calling 8 scored he whipped round to correct me then realised i was kidding my head still hurts from friday eve was a good day though dispite my poor efforts Edited July 11, 2010 by Paul223

timps
I bought my son a Beretta Silver Pigeon s 20G yesterday and as one of my sacrifices as a good parent I decided to make sure it was ok whilst he was at school today . So I took a trip down to Worsley, sorry Manchester clay club as it’s now known to try it out. I have not been for a while and was impressed at the new reception area and it was nice to see some old faces again. The thing is, either Worsley has become very easy (maybe just Wednesdays) or I have improved a hell of a lot since I last went. There were quite a few stands on and I near enough cleared every stand with the 20G without first seeing a pair. I did the first 8 stands not dropping one at all. There were 2 highish loopers on different stands that gave me trouble with the 20G so I switched to the DT10 for those and hit everyone. I just hope it’s a Wednesday thing as it used to be a good ground to shoot, or maybe even better I have just become unbelievably good overnight .... I think I am going to do the next members comp (even though I am no longer a member) as I reckon it might just be a little harder and I did enjoy the day shooting at Worsley again. The 20G was just great little gun to shoot apart from the automatic safety doh!!!!!!

My life flashed before me, it's why I only got 71 in the North v South. I was traumatised It was my ploy to beat U and Anni it did not affect me as I scored a stunning 81 and made it into the top ten in looks, charm, shooting and ******** and was in the top 3 in my car I expect you were just traumatised by my greatness and the fact we passed a John Deere without crashing into it on the way down
