pigeon mad
hello mate when you take the berrels off the underside should have sizes stamped on when i brought mine the gunsmith told me it was 1/4 and 3/4 but when i checked it had 18.5 and 18.6 with one star stamped on left barrel and three stars on the right so i think mine is full and 3/4 if you go by the choke notches hope this helped you a bit happy shooting

retromlc
I don't know anything much, but my AYA has had the chokes opened up,they were full and 1/4,but now are OPEN and 3/8 apparently, good pigeon gun.so your AYA may not be as they left the factory. Also out of interest,i'm not sure you could use it for wildfowling as you can only use steel on wetlands,(unless your rich and can afford Bismoth (over £1 each))and I don't think you could push steel shot, say nummber 3 through a full choked gun, could someone with more knowlege clarify this point. steve0146
The maximum choke recommended for steel is 1/2. As its much harder than lead they reckon it tightens your pattern by up to another choke size. Plus if the barrrells are old i'm not sure you want to put steel through them. wabbitbosher
Hello there Rabbit you cant trust the marks ! Most old guns have been worked on at some stage if its ever been bored or even a fine polish it will have made the chokes tighter Best bet is to take it to a competant gunsmith and get him to check it for you Wb
