yates Posted January 19, 2010 Report Share Posted January 19, 2010 Does anyone else have problems with Zippo lighters. I've 3 but they always let me down when i'm outside. When i go back inside they work but as soon as i'm in the outdoor's the damn things don't work. I've tried only using proper zippo fuel and flints with limited success. It is getting very frustating. One thing that I found with mine was that they worked extremely well with "Swan Brand" flints. The Swan flints are slightly larger and last really well! jinxs Posted January 21, 2010 Report Share Posted January 21, 2010 Hi i`ve had several (still got them) zippo`s never had any trouble with them lighting but i find that the hinges wear out (go sloppy )on them so much so that the pin drops out. apart from that brill lighters .
