I'm going down with my boy on the Sunday. Will wear my PW badge (if it's arrived in time) rather than a pink carnation!!!! will no doubt make a couple of visits to the beer tend during the day. Wouldn't surprise me if the boy spent all day in there!!!! only seems like yesterday I was wetting his head!

Well I just got back, bought plenty of decoying equipment:

GOOD:

More stalls

Better parking arrangement

Mostly undercover

Not too muddy underfoot.

BAD:

No cashpoint inside - you can get money from Thomas Cook, but it takes ages

Stalls still seem quite small - are traders going for the bare minimum they can get away with?

On the gate tickets VERY slow. I got there at 10:30 and queued for nearly 40 minutes - only two people taking money!

Would I go again?

Yes, but i'll pre-order tickets.

I thought it was much better than last year, loads more stalls but yes sthey weren't that big so some were mega busy. I had a quick wander round in the morning then did the rabbit challenge and had a go on the black powder clays and by the time I was ready for a proper wander in the afternoon most of the stalls were much easier to get onto

just back, had a great day, but confused :good: . Set off determined to like a MK38 teague sporter, but now not sure - really liked the 686E Beretta though  going to try to decide next week. Good show, not too muddy, sandwiches ***** expensive as usual, but really tasty. good stands and friendly people.:yes:

I got back to Cornwall 6am this morning from a week-end in Notts...Was at the show on saturday..Thought it was ok but i was running late all day and found myself rushing around abit....Met up with Wabbitbosher on the English Sporting trap...Thanks Mick...Went out with SXS on Sunday..Nice little shooter. :good::yes: ...

Highlight i think for me was my Daughter putting 6 in or on the Black the very first time she's picked up a gun.....She had a VERY PROUD Dad grinning next to her.....Found out she's a left-hander aswell, same as her Dad....Where both right handed and right footed at everything else...Both left eye dominant....Good day all round...Will be going again....

Got there at about 9, i live in normal traffic 10mins away, but it took two hours to finally get thorugh the gate. According to the police they had to force the show organizer open the gate early as the traffic was already qued up at 6:30 on the A1. There was alot people and quite a big show considering it was just guns. Overall it was quite good and i shall be pre booking next year.
