garjo
Hello Need advice on this. Just put a deposite on Winchester 101 - 12g, 28" barrels, adjustable stock, fixed choke. Would be mainly used for clays. This would be my first gun. Now panicking whether made right decision - would appreciate feedback. Ta. humperdingle
One of the best guns ever made IMO... Beautifully balanced and solid. Probably the only shotgun I regret selling.
Gordon R
Depends on condition and price. Well balanced, well made and certainly the equal of Browning, Miroku and Beretta.

Dirtboy
Got one myself and love it, only minor 'gripe' is that the chokes are fixed but its only on occaision that I think of it. Other than that I love it and use it for rough shooting as opposed to clays . Like the others have said it all depends on price and condition but IMHO they are ' bullet-proof' if you pardon the pun! Spares can be a prob if ever needed as most seem to be in the USA. What model is yours ??
COACH
1980s Winchesters are still fantastic guns but the parts are non existent. They usually butcher browning parts to fit but its costly. However I have had mine for years and its still the best handling /balanced gun I`v ever had and I`v had some good guns in my time. I won`t sell my 6500 mk 2 for any and I mean any money. The adjustable stock is a bit of a concern though, it sounds like it may be a trap gun. If its fixed choke they will be tight. fortune82
Brilliant gun! Got rid of one lat year and sort of regret it! Watch out for cracks in the ejector kickers as they are about £200 a pair fitted!
