cometa24/7
Hi all, I'm borrowing a HW90 .22Cal...(AIRIFLE) this weekend, and i was woundering What pellets you'd recomend for the gun? The reason i ask is simple, I've only got the gun on loan for this weekend for a trial perpurse, and I dont want to waste money on trying differant types of pellet, If the gun is in good working order..I've got the chance to buy it for a £100.00 Thanks for all advise in advance... SSS
Accupells worked well in every gun I have tried so I would give them a shot. All the very best, SSS
tango
id recommend JSB exacts or H&N FTT's..ive used both of these in my weihrauch and both are very accurate and the match the gun well, there a bit steep like, but if youve only got it for a weekend you want good pellets to get the best out of the rifle. lineshooter
Rws Superdomes also work well in this gun, the Hw 90 is fitted with a gas ram rather than a spring so shots should be more consistant, thats not a bad price if the gun works ok. amateur
Because pellet suitability seems to be gun-related - ie some pellets work well in a particular gun, but the same make of pellets may not in a different gun, why not ask the guy who's lending you the gun what he uses? SirFox
The AA range work well in HW guns. Give them a go.
mart46
You are always going to get everyones prefered choice of pellet, but it does depend on the gun itself. My HW97 found accupells and superfields really good, but AA fields the best
SirFox
RWS superdmes work well in my HW95. You'll have to try a few brands and see what works.
pigglet
The AA range work well in HW guns. Give them a go. I've got a HW77K and it groups like a shotgun with both types of AirArms pellets I've tried. It likes H&N FTT's though. Pellet on pellet at 30yds rws superdomes seem to be next favoutite. Aren't the Air Arms pellets slightly smaller in diameter than the H&N and RWS offerings?
aaron airgunner
out of all the guns i've tried h&n field always seems to be the one which will group well on the whole.
