TomV
I was watching Tales from the country this morning, they did a piece on harvesting oil seed rape. I didn't realise that rape seed oil is full of omega 3. Apparently, it is better for you than olive oil

The guy that owened the company was in the middle of getting a deal with an oatcake company and had samples got to say they were vety nice so we had to buy a bottle or two and some oatcakes

berties
we have started using extra virgin cold pressed rape seed oil,in place of olive oil it is milder in flavour heat stable and is british product grown and pressed 10 miles from me,good for the carbon foot print and a great product which has great health implications,we pay nearly the same for 5 litres versus olive oil of the same standard £17.50,you would not put this in your car,we pay £16 for 20litres veg oil as there is a battle on price to get waste oil for bio diesel and the best of it all have been offered some pigeon shooting over the rape
