markm
Browning Cynergy Field with 24 or 28 gms of 6. Best shotgun I have ever owned, shoot better with it than any 12. You will not regret it. Edited March 4, 2010 by markm
stevew
I have a Lincoln premier, use it for most of my game shooting, take it clay shooting now and again -would definately recommend getting a 28 bore.
MC
I have a Turkish HuGlu, which are just being imported by Edgar Brothers. It is very similar to a Beretta in looks. It is a little rough and ready but then for £500 you can't expect too much. That being said there is nothing wrong with it. I use Hull 21gr and Express 19gr loads in it and use it mainly for driven game and a few clays.
bicykillgaz
are they dearer to run than a .410?
MC
Probably about the same, I pay £6 a box for the 19gr Express cartridges and £6.50 for the 21gr Hull.
malkiserow
I thought about a 28 bore but settled on a 20 (silver pigeon grade 3, 30 inch barrel and M/C) Check the weight of the gun carefully. My 20 bore is 6.5 Lb but can fire 28 gram carts
lasbrisas
I went for a 20 gauge over a 28 for my 11 year old, the 2 guns weighed the same so there was no advantage and the carts are cheaper for the 20 aswell.
mossy835
i use the 28 gauge reducers in my 12 gauge, and they are spot on bring the pigeons down very well.
sitsinhedges
i use the 28 gauge reducers in my 12 gauge, and they are spot on bring the pigeons down very well. But what is the point Surely you've got the worst of both worlds that way, expensive cartridges and a heavy gun
mossy835
saves buying another gun, i have all the reducers.and need one gun,
night owl
as its a gun i would not use much i have been after a cheep one for a long time and they just do not come up there like gold dust so i would of thought if you buy one you will not lose money on it should keep a good value
