My New CZ...

Well after a few issues, followed by my losing confidence in my Stirling HMR, I part exchanged it yesterday for a nice CZ Varmint....I will post how it shoots later, weather dependent [oh...and Mother dependent....seeing as it is mother's day]. I kept the Wildcat Moderator and it has the Hawke Night Eye 6.5-24x50AO scope. I hope I can do it justice....

Fantastic rifle. That stock is gorgeous, the standard of wood on these has improved a huge amount with the recent change in the finishing they use on them, i'm thinking of stripping mine and re-doing the stock, anyone else done this?

I can't argue that on the whole the quality of wood used (even if it is Turkish) is pretty damn good on the whole for an innexpensive gun!

I have no experience of other makes of 17HMR so I can't comment on them but I would not dream of parting with my CZ 452 Varmint in 17HMR. Excellent bunny basher and very capable and effective with many other types of quarry too!

Fantactic tool, extremely accurate and great value for money - Worth every penny! ;):good::hmm::mad:
