could anyone tell me what is the best camo net for genral use please, cheers matt

I would say any net of around 15 x 5 foot that can conceal you well, will do for most situations. The colour is not that important. Best net? That is a matter of opinion, but something like a stealth net is as good as any.

For many years, I used the army type netting. woked well for me, but with the new, lighter netting available, I changed mine. The Stealth is a good net, I don't own one, but have seen it in use.

Thanks for the suggestion as I was going to ask the same question. Do people have any recomendations for suppliers ? I have been looking at ***************** and UK Shoot Warehouse. Does anyone have experience of either of these ?

I have allways used the ex army camo net 14 X 8 . easy to rollup and carry in your bag, my mate has some of the new stuff but has now gone back to the ex army.

Had mine about one and a half years now, snagged it on brambles, snared it here and there, and there are no tears or rips anywhere, and the black mesh inside stops your gun snagging.

 

Excellent net worth every penny.

Another vote for the stealth net, i got mine from #### as he's only a couple or three miles from my house.

I have two stealth ghost nets aswell very good net for around £25.

Stealth net is the best on the market had my 2 stealth nets for 3 years and would not swap them for anything excellent net, and no i dont work for them!
