New Idea for the forum

When something is sold, it must be marked as sold which is the rule now... But, I have been having a think. Is there any way the topic titles can be edited and changed to SOLD to save me or you hours of time trawling through?

Just a thought

Perhaps the OP should have the option to delete the post at point of sale?

the only problem with that is ,the op can then remove the ad that said the item was mint, when the buyer finds out it is not and then needs the ad,to refer back to...just an example.

not everyone wil think of copying and pasting the ad.

just a thought.

It does sometimes take a long time, especially if there is 50 odd posts asking for pictures and saying nice gun!

I am guilty of doing the above, but wouldn't you like the forum to be a little easier to use and more user friendly?

SSS,

For a bit of perspective, how many guns / items have you bought on PW ?

I have not bought a gun as yet, but have PM'd about more than I could count on both hands, only to get the answer 'its sold'

This idea isn't original and the subject has been brought up many times before, the answer remains the same.

The OP <should> write NOW SOLD in the first post - not difficult is it?

Not difficult at all stuart, but some people seem incapable of doing it
