docholiday
They cant insist but it usually makes sense to have them running together doc
blackbird
No the police will not insist, but it will save you time & money in the long run if u do the two same time.
Lez325
Id do both if I were you - saves on renewal costs Les
goldypurple
£60 for a co-term or £50 now for fac and then more when when your sgc come up for renewal
al4x
they will try and push you to do them together as it makes sense for all concerned saves you money and them time. With mine I didn't have to fill in any referee bits just the very basics of what guns I had and my details and they just processed it with the FAC
Imperfection
I did mine few weeks ago and i still had 2.5 years left on my shotgun.Saves both parties money-you £40 and the Police having to do more paperwork long term plus call out visits. Go for it!
VULTURE
Ok thanks for the replies, will go co terminus , one more question how many photos and do i have to sign two of them? Ian750
I've had my FEO visit 5 weeks ago after applying for coterminous, you'll need 8 photos in all, 2 of them countersigned for the FAC and 1 countersigned for the SGC. If I remember correctly that is!! Just wish they'd hurry up and land on the mat now, I've got my eyes on some new toys!
Dekers
Mine have been Co for some years now but my lad has only had his FAC/SGC a couple of years, I made sure he STARTED with co, a better bet if you have any interest in both!
