i must point out thinking about it, that although we have made a booking, it has not been confirmed, which means it can be taken, so if we dont get deposits in for a few people asap then we wont get it

if it does fall through i will return the money or cheque to the appropriate people on the day.

hey nick

i may not be able to bringmy dads rifle with me as he may be in afghanistan at that time but hopefully not. i would be able to take the shotgun however as i would hopefully have my shotgun certificate by then. i am on for thge clays and rifle and will get the money in the post soon.but my dad would only like to do the rifle so i will get it in the post with mine, all the money would be on one check. would that be ok.

okay, recieved blackthorns, lambers and matts cheque today for the clays and will add CLAYS

next to their names to show this.

as ive had the day off i also phoned up the clay ground to change the booking to between 10 and 15 people with their own carts, so the deposit required per person is 15.20 each i believe.

they said that the booking was secure for a while, but that if we wanted to deffinatly confirm the booking (so no-one can move us) they would recomend cheqes in the next few weeks/month.

i asked if they would accept cheques straight to them, they said yes, just make sure they are made payable to bisley shooting ground ltd. and the 5th Aug Nick Dungan shoot.

however they would preffer one big cheque, so if you want to send cheques to me personally you are welcome to.

could i encourage you to get the clays deposit to me asap.

i will send a PM now that i have a min to all those who showed an intrest in clays recently.

okay, just rang up and looked into camping....

i hope you like harley davidsons

its their biker weekend, there will be 2000 bikers there that night :sly:

it is still fine to camp, they can tuck us out of the way down by the air rifle range, and its £5 per tent.

the lass on the phone recomended using the armoury that day due to the numbers on camp, although its not a requirement. apparently its £1 per firearm (or less if you catch the chap in a good mood) but its not required to keep them there, so they can be kept in your car.

the choice is yours, if you would like to camp i can arrange it, im up for it, although i suspect my old man isnt

i just had a thought about cartridges and advise you either bring them doen or if buying down there i would buy from fultonf if they do them or maskells in farnborough as they are cheapest for ammo. i fins kennedys depressing as everything is expensive. just a thought.

 fair point.

yes i see no reason why not.

rifle is a £10 deposit (£5.20 back to you if you come)

clays are a £15.20 depost, the rest of the £38 you will have to give me/or the clay ground (depends how i organise it) on the day.

do you have your own rifle?

i will PM you the details on where to send the deposits before the end of this evening.

im waiting for a response from the chap who runs the club. i will send him a reminder tonight.

the secretary which flash kindly put me onto said that he was certain they could sort something out, it was just a case of who from their lot had to be there and how much it would cost us.

i believe the hft range is open after the bell at bisley, so as we would be camping next to the hft range, we could make full use of it towards the end of the evening.

could i please encourage people who are wanting to go clay shooting to get the £ to me asap. once we have started sending them a bit of cash they will confirm it, but at the moment they only have a teenagers word for it.

sorry to push the other topic down -> http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=13905

hey nick

i know another person who is a close friend and wishes to join pigeonwatch and i was wandering if he would be welcome on the shoot meet. if possible he would be up for both the claypigeon and rifle shooting. he is a local and knows bisley.

as i am now at home i will be able to send the money off tommorow.
