ostrea
Just had my certificate through a couple weeks ago asked for 1000 to be possessed at one time and 500 to buy and that's what i had off them. use for targets and pest/vermin. Long wait for the FAC just over five months in total!

Slug
Do the FSEl differentiate on holdings between Target shooters and Pest controllers ? The reason I ask is the norm seems to be Hold 1200 and Acquire 1000 for our Mini Rifle members ?.. Mind you that's Essex they do seem a bit more relaxed about ammo. Ian750
Personally I think it's a case of how many rounds do you need? If you're a gamekeeper or keen target shooter or something I can see why you'd need to hold in excess of 1000 rounds but if like me you just need to control the bunny/pigeon etc population then I don't personally see the need to be buying any more than 500 rounds in one go, or holding any more than 600-750. Just my opinion though, this quantity suits me fine.

hendersons
either go for buy 500 and hold 600 or buy 1000 and hold 1100, as most shops offer a discount on buying 500 or 1000 at a time nick
