Cranfield
I have never used snap caps, but I know people that always use them. I am not sure there is a "definitive" answer.
Newsportshooter
Using them CANT do any harm - if you've bought them already then use them.
Billy.
I would use the forum search option. This topic came up all but a day ago. I am firmly against them. You don't take re pressure off your car suspension when you're not using it.

I rather think you will find it can, one of my very expensive stainless caps got stuck in my ejector because, despite the fact it was expensive, it was rubbish!! I've used snap caps all my life but haven't really bothered over the last few years! New guns, I don't think its worth the trouble, old guns, there may be an argument to use them! pbickerd
Any of the PSG guys here will tell you that guns like the 870 get dry fired all day long without issue. I wouldnt both with snapcaps if I was you.
