clayman
Hiya PiG Watch Members As usual we will be at the Midland, please come and see our stand and mention PWF for 10% off anything you buy from Abacus Claysports!! The Midland is traditionally considered the end of season clearance venue, and the best bargains are always snapped up before 9am on the first day, so the early bird gets the worm!! Anyone bring a gun along to shoot is welcome to a free gunfit check and vision assessment at our stand, if we are not too busy! C U All there Clayman

DSPUK
I thought the long queues were a thing of the past now they just wave you in -- I always use the shooters carpark also might be signed camping - If you come up M54 from M6 get off at Junc 3 - turn right and take third right opposite Pub and garage - on to cross roads - turn left and follow road till you see the big gates in front of you - if the countryman Fair Gestapo are there tell them you are shooting. have a look for the food square - nice game pies Sunday for me Dave
DSPUK
Been past Weston Park today on A41 - all the signs are up so if you want to park in shooters car park follow Camping/dogs/shooting signs -- these are on A41 between Island with A5 and M54 - If they stop you at gate say you are shooting and not going to carry a gun through fair. samyw
Mostly full of the usual **** clothing and non country sports stall holders selling the usual rubbish. Prices are no better than you can achieve off the tinternet. Sometimes a lot worse. My advice is know what you want, know what you can buy it for elsewhere, and take cash. Gunmakers Row is mostly full of shoddy gun retailers. I found better deals can be had off the likes of the Guntrader web site of through the sales ads forums such as this. The site is a nightmare if it rains, being perched on that slope in front of the house. Much prefer the CLA as a day out. For the same reason why we don't go to Appleby Far fewer fat tattooed women dragging their half dozen kids around and less dogmen. what a complete and utter idiot

Dougy
Thanks for the help guys, looks like the dog is staying at home then. Paul Its a shame i know but you will understand once you have gone A over T a few times tripping over dog leads, normally your too busy clocking some bit of toty in a short skirt and low top, or if not, oggling some nice shot gun only to get a lead wrapped around your ankles and hey presto your on the deck cussing some poor dog owner. Pushchairs are another thing to keep an eye out for But above all a great weekend meeting people of very simaler interest comparing stories and the like Edited September 16, 2010 by Dougy
