eddoakley
Anyone tell me how much to expect to pay to get a tube on a beretta 301 crimped from 5 to 3 shot, and how much hassle it is? Cheers Edd

eddoakley
if its already on FAC its probably more hastle than its worth Got the chance of a ''mint'' 301 on fac, so far looks like costing 245 including crimping and proofing. It sounds good at that price but i dont know how much hassle it will be, thinking about it I would also have to pay rfd fees to get it from the shop its in to my local as i obvioulsy couldnt collect, so thats prob 270...... originalgeezer
Unless the gun is a "bargain" I wouldn't think it is really worth it?

Edd Used FAC versions will almost always be cheaper than normal SGC, but that still seems very good...I suspect it is down to someones interpretation of "mint"
steve_b_wales
I understand it that once a shotgun is FAC, then it will remain an FAC. That's what I was told anyway.
eddoakley
Hi Steve, that's not right mate. I actually have a 301 in the sales section that was 5 shot and had tube crimmped to 3 and has a certificate to show that its now sgc. My mossy pump is the same. Litts quoted me 120 to crimp and re-proof onto sgc. Edd
