dunganick
i got confirmation from BASC yesterday, so we now have 2x 100yard range for the whole day and 1x 200yard range for whole day. If we get 10 more members willing to donate their £4.80 then i can book another 200yard.

Snotty
what am i coming in to me thinks i am going to get some belly chuckles this day I don't think that's a good idea at all  Obviously Lucher Boy has some serious gender issues at present. Rather than laugh I think we should all try to make him feel comfortable by dressing as women, shooting 20 bore etc. Snotty

dunganick
cheers I think thats 12 now........... will double check later I have some news about the airguns and will post later, although personally i think the price is a bit steep @ £35 so i will give you lot all the details later and let you lot decide. dunganick
okay sorry for the delay posting this This is the email i recieved concerning the airgun shooting, i have to say the price is much higher than i expected but let me know what you think. If your intrested (as i know we have some people coming who dont shoot anything apart from airguns) then assuming they will run it with lower numbers then i will quite happily organise that for you, however i am expecting @ £35 a head most would rather spend it on beers "With regard to the air rifle shooting, I suggest that you sell it as a friendly competition, with prizes for .22 calibre and for .177. We would have a zero/practice range set up for you, plus the course of 20 to 30 targets. With regard to your query on needing a start and finish time… that depends on you. It will take at least 2.5 hours to get 20 or so through the practice range and the course, IF THE SHOOT IS TIGHTLY ORGANISED. If people are going to be turning up in dribs and drabs, it will take considerably longer. If a number of people want to turn up earlier to shoot, that would help matters considerably. ENDEX for the course would depend on lighting conditions. However, the main practice area of the BFTO ranges is floodlit. I believe their rules stipulate shutting down at 21:30 or thereabouts. For those that need them, we have at our disposal, 12 pre charged pneumatic .177 air rifles with scopes. We can also provide .177 calibre ammunition. Cost per head will be £35 for those who wish to bring their own rifles and £45 would include hire of rifle from us, plus unlimited air re-fills and ammunition. ALL AIR RIFLES USED ON BFTO RANGES MUST FALL WITHIN THE 12 FT POUND MUZZLE ENERGY LEGAL LIMIT." Give me your thoughts Can i also ask those intrested in camping either the night before or the night following the event to let me know as i need to give bisley a rough idea how many of us there will be. £5 per tent and £1 per gun in the armoury if you want to put it there. dunganick
Okay, i have to let the clay ground know final numbers beguining of next month, so anyone who hasnt sent money needs to get their backsides in gear if they want a garuntied place. Still would like to know who wants to camp or alternatively you can ring up bisley and book yourself a tent on the day and just say your with Nick Dungan. Personally i dont think its worth doing, but its completely up to the members. The 5th of this month mate, so get them to me asap.
