BTMS
I have just taken up pidgeon shooting last weekend  I noticed my barel was flashing and glinting in the sun light. Noticed in the mags that you can buy a cover for autos but not for over under any ideas??
.223
You can get a cammo tape to stick over your barrels but i do not like the idea of this as you will have to take it off after each trip incase water has goten in between the tape and barrel to prevent rust. I prefere just to keep the barrels inside the hide untill the very last moment also if you wear glass's these shine just as bad so it is a good idea to get some contacts. Cranfield
The camouflage sock thingy you can get for autos, can be "altered" for O/U or SBS. Just cut the barrel section off and slide it down over your barrels. Your butt is uncovered (if you will excuse the expression), but that doesn,t matter, the majority of the metal on your gun is covered. everygoodnamewastaken
I got an old pair of cammo trowsers, cut offthe legs then use tape to keep it on the barrels works ok and cheaper that tape or a real sock
neil
I've see people use the leg of an old pair of ladies tights  that seemed to work ok
Catamong
The golden rule has to be keep your gun dead still until they are within range - and if it flashes then, it doesn't matter, because they are close enough to kill...!!! Good luck, I hope you enjoy the sport.
rjimmer
Spray the barrels with Abbey Metal Protector. It will kill any shine and keep the water off. You will have to use a solvent to remove it, though.
