robbobsam
To be honest it isnt my work, it was given to me by a friend and with all the testing I have done I just cannot get any better. I use my .243 Tikka T3 Super Varmint 20" barrel with a 1 in 10 twist. 44 grains of H414 powder 87 grain V-max bullets Lapua cases Fed210m primers seated 20thou off the lands. Velocity is 3095 fps. .4" group of 3 shots at 100yds 1" group of 3 shots @ 200yds 2.5" group of 3 shots @ 400yds. ES is 18 SD is 10. All these groups were achieved with a 3mph following wind directly behind me. I have managed to produce a drop chart created with field data up to 800yds and the group was 6" at 800yds. I do spend an aweful lot of time preping cases and getting the reloading absolutely spot on, but bearing in mind I have only been reloading about 3-4 months I think the results are pretty good for a newbie. :good: Try the load yourself, but remember to work up to the load I have stated and look out for pressure signs on rifle and cases as you go. Bazooka Joe
Your post on LRH is nearly identical to this post on PW, 8 days later, & you've have had a multitude of theories from our American friends to the problem, if there is one FACTORY RIFLE ring a bell ? :o Looks like the Target Boys have seen straight through you on UKLR aswell correct me if I'm wrong, but your Acc has also went AWOL ?? How many answers do you want to the same question ?? BJ
garyb
I've got the same rifle. It does shoot decent groups!
Mr_Logic
The Tikka T3, with the right load, will shoot. No question, I've got two of them and they both do. My CZ is better but they are good...
