Miroku Mike
Been wanting one of these for ages, beleived they had all been sold. I went to Jason Harris @ Trulock and Harris, looking for a 32" gun, I could not believe my luck, He had picked up what he believes to be the last 32" 682 LTD as thats what Beretta told him, Apparantly they hold a handful of guns back now and again. I would have loved to have seen the look on Lucky *****ocks here face as i walked out of the shop with it My Dad said half way home "is that smile gonna be on your face all week" Im guessing longer than that. She has fantastically figured wood and all in all is just bl**dy beautiful. soon as i can i will post a pic of my new baby. Never owned a beretta before but i think its a nice one to start with

edr
Looks very nice - much better chequering than the current 682 gold e. Enjoy! I bought one (682 gold e) 3 weeks ago and the chequering is now the same, apart from the forend chequering which strecthes all the way down it, like the dt10 foreend. gwb
Lovely Gun Just out of interest can you tell me the difference between the standard and ltd edition, also do they do ltd in skeet trap and sporting
GP1
Nice gun with a lovely bit of wood, she should last you a life time if you take care of her, i have a Siverpigeon II with nice wood and would not sell her, had it fitted and love it, only problem is i don't like taking it into the hide to much so bought a Beretta 391 semi
Miroku Mike
Originally the gun had a few more perks than a standard one, ie nickel plated action with a different engraving a laurel leaf, hand engraved checkering and a much higher grade wood. I must confess i am no Beretta expert as this is the first one i have ever owned "nice one if i do say so myself " When i was in the shop i noticed the new standard 682 e had similar checkering not the lazer cut, if i remember correctly one of the shop workers said he believed the standard ones are now nickel plated also "please dont quote me on that though" other than that i think they are one in the same gun. They did do a sporting which i have and a skeet and trap model. Apparantley there were 1500 made 396 of which came to Britain. Thats only what i have read, i assume this to be correct. Hope this answer your question GP1, im sure a true Beretta man can correct me if i am wrong
COACH
I nearly bought one of the 682 LTDs as I love them, when my mate had trouble with the nickel coating coming off and the gold going black. He sent it back to GMK who said he would get it back from Italy in about 4 x months :o It took 5 x months. He sold it as soon as it came back. Since then I have heard of at least 5 others going back with the same problems. A very famous gun shop tells me they have had quite a few go back as well. So, lovely guns they are guys but keep a very close eye on them.
